Handam Coastal Trail - 한담해변 (Handam Beach)
Handam Beach stretches along the coastline from Aewol-ri Village, located at the northwestern tip of Jejudo Island, to Gwakji Gwamul Beach. Established in 2001 by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province as part of a coastline enhancement initiative, the beach offers islanders and tourists a variety of ways to enjoy the ocean. The initiative prioritized blending with the natural scenery. A 1.2km winding trail runs along the stunning coastline, designed to be as close to the ocean as possible. This spot is highly popular for its relaxing walks along the expansive blue sea. In July 2009, Jeju-si identified 31 sites that represent Jejudo Island beyond the well-known tourist spots, and Handam Beach was selected as one of these 31 hidden gems of Jeju-si. - Hallim Park - Situated in Hallim-eup, west of Hallasan Mountain (1,950.1m), Hallim Park is an undiscovered area. Located 33km west along Ilju Road from Jeju City, it is regarded as one of Jeju Island’s top tourist destinations, offering views of the untouched landscapes of Hyeopjae and Geumneung Beach and the picturesque Biyangdo Island. Spanning 100,000 pyeong, the park is surrounded by palm trees and a dense pine forest, with various flowers and trees creating stunning scenery year-round. It features attractions such as an exhibition hall and a safari bird garden.

Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road - 신창해안도로 (Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road)
Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road is located on the northwest side of Jeju Island and is distinguished by its offshore wind farm, a notable landmark. The white windmills and emerald waters along the winding shoreline exemplify the refreshing autumn landscape and provide an eco-friendly method of electricity generation. This road is also one of the most picturesque spots to watch the sunset on Jeju, so don’t forget your camera!
An Ecological Experience Center walking course is also available on the coastal road. The observation deck, situated midway along the walking course, offers a convenient place to rest and enjoy the view. Stroll along the Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road and create many delightful memories, along with a photo or two!
- O’sulloc Tea Museum - The Osulloc Tea Museum, adjacent to the Seogwang tea field in Jeju, is Korea’s first tea museum, opened in 2001 by AMOREPACIFIC to promote tea and Korean traditional tea culture. It is a cultural space that blends East and West, tradition and modernity, and includes a tea museum, a nature-friendly rest area, and a cafe where visitors can enjoy delicious and diverse tea-based menus.

Yongmeori Coast - 용머리해안 (Yongmeori Coast)
Yongmeori Coast is named for its resemblance to a dragon diving into the ocean with its head raised (“Yong” means dragon and “Meori” means head in Korean). Yongmeori is a sandstone bed formed by layers of sand deposited over tens of millions of years. The coast’s mysterious scenery is awe-inspiring. At the base of the coast is a Hamel Monument, established by the Embassy of the Netherlands and the Korean Foundation on April 1st, 1980, to strengthen diplomatic ties between Korea and the Netherlands and to honor the dedication and efforts of Hendrick Hamel. -
Songaksan Mountain - 송악산(Songaksan Mountain’s peak)
Featuring a cinder cone in the center of the crater and its tuff ring, Songaksan Mountain’s peak, which can also be considered its mouth, has a depth of 69m and has fully preserved its active form. Once unknown to visitors except for archaeological purposes, it has recently become part of a popular tour route, with many narrow paths leading to it. Songaksan Mountain served as Japan’s forward operating base during its invasion of China, the last line of defense during the final hours of WWII. Remnants of airfields, hangars, and anti-aircraft artillery are scattered throughout, with 15 coastal trenches below the coastal cliff, four or five of which have naturally decomposed and pose falling hazards. The site holds high preservation value as the cave was constructed using the shore cliff, and the trenches are positioned by the seaside, offering excellent ocean views. - Hyeopjae Beach - Hyeopjae Beach is located next to Hallim Park, 32 km west of Jeju City. The white sandy beach, mixed with shell powder, Biyangdo Island floating in the front sea, the stunning cobalt-colored sea, and the dense pine forest all blend together to create a beautiful scene. The white sandy beach is approximately 200m long, 60m wide, with an average water depth of 1.2m, and a slope of 3-8 degrees. The shallow water and gentle slope make it ideal for families. Additionally, various convenient facilities are well-equipped, and camping is possible in the pine forest. The southwest coast of this beach connects to Geumneung Beach, and locals refer to the two beaches collectively as Hyeopjae Beach.
