Woljeongri Beach - Renowned for its picturesque views, serene white sands, and stunning emerald waters, Woljeongri Beach is lined with charming cafes.
Haenyeo Museum - If Manjanggul Lava Tube is closed (first Wednesday of each month), the Jeju Haenyeo Museum will serve as an alternative tour option. “Haenyeo” refers to the female divers in Korea who collect seaweed, abalone, octopus, clams, sea urchins, and other marine products. This term embodies a unique cultural significance beyond just a profession. Today, they can only be found on Jeju Island, an hour’s flight from Seoul.
Seongsan Ilchulbong - Featuring a Women Diver Show, Seongsan Ilchulbong, or ‘Sunrise Peak’, is a classic tuff cone formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions around 5,000 years ago. Located on Jeju Island’s eastern coast, it resembles a massive ancient fortress, standing 182 meters tall with a well-preserved crater and diverse internal structures from the sea cliff.
Seopjikoji - Situated at the eastern tip of Jeju Island, Seopjikoji offers breathtaking views, especially in April when yellow canola flowers bloom. “Seopji” is the area’s old name, and “Koji” means a sudden land bump in Jeju dialect. Seopjikoji can be replaced with Sangumburi in October and November.
Sangumburi Crater - Best visited in October and November, Sangumburi Crater serves as an alternative to Seopjikoji.
Seongeup Folk Village - This traditional village on Jeju Island remains as it was in ancient times, with stone piles protecting roofs from the wind. The buildings are important folk relics, having survived since the Joseon Dynasty, built to thwart Japanese invasions. The Folk Village is optional, with the Jeju Folk Village Museum as an alternative.
Manjanggul Cave - The UNESCO Heritage Manjang Cave is currently closed for construction to prevent falls, reopening in August 2025. During this period, it will be replaced by ‘Jeju Stone Park’ or ‘Eco Land Theme Park’. If Manjanggul Lava Tube is closed (first Wednesday of each month), the Jeju Haenyeo Museum will be an alternative tour option.
Discover West Jeju
Hallim Park - A popular Jeju tourist spot, Hallim Park hosts monthly flower events. The spring highlight is the Hallim Park Tulip Festival, showcasing tulip varieties like Apeldoorn, Shirley, Kees Nelis, Barcelona, and Pink Diamond. Visitors can also enjoy bibimbap garnished with colorful tulips.
The Ma Park - As the first horse-themed park globally, Raon The Ma Park offers a permanent horse-riding show, “Empire of Thousand Years. Oh! Goguryeo Dynasty”, based on Jumong, Goguryeo Dynasty’s founder. It features top-notch horse-riding facilities for all skill levels and various horse-related activities.
O’sulloc Tea Museum - Opened in 2001 on Jeju Island, the Osulloc Tea Museum is Korea’s first tea museum. In 2013, Osulloc Tea Stone was added, providing visitors with diverse tea experiences and cultural activities.
Yongmeori Coast - Yongmeori Coast is a volcanic beach formed by ash from explosive eruptions when hot magma met cold seawater. A narrow path leads to the beach, where a sandstone cliff is visible. Its name, Yongmeori, meaning dragon’s head, reflects its dragon-like appearance. Access may be restricted during high tides or bad weather, with Mt. Songaksan as an alternative.
Sanbangsan Mountain - Sanbangsan, a 395-meter-high dome-shaped, craterless volcano, derives its name from a natural stone cave, Sanbanggulsa Temple, housing a Buddha statue. Legend says the cave’s water drops are tears of love from the goddess protecting Sanbangsan’s stone walls.
Songaksan Mountain - If Yongmeori Coast is closed (due to high tides or bad weather), Mt. Songaksan will be an alternative tour option.
Cheonjeyeon Falls - Known as “The Pond of God,” Cheonjeyeon Falls has three sections. The area is home to diverse plant life, including rare ‘solimnan’ reeds. To the east, a cave releases cold water, forming the first waterfall, which flows into a pool, then cascades twice more, creating the second and third waterfalls before reaching the sea.
Discover South Jeju Island
Mysterious Road (Dokkaebi Road) - Gaining fame in 1981 when a honeymooning couple saw a car in neutral roll uphill, Mysterious Road has since attracted many tourists.
Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff - Formed by Mount Hallasan’s lava flowing into the sea, the cliffs resemble black columns of varying sizes and heights, akin to charcoal. It’s fascinating how they naturally formed. Patience is needed for photos due to crowded platforms.
Alive Museum - A Tricky Theme Park featuring five optical illusion themes: Trick Art, Digital Art, Sculpture Art, Provence Art. Visitors enjoy a unique and exciting experience through these themes.

Oedolgae - Standing 20 meters tall, Oedolgae Rock is the first sight among the rocks near Namju’s Haegeumgang River and Seogwipo Chilshipri Coast. Located 2 km west of Seogwipo City, it was formed by a volcanic eruption 150,000 years ago, altering the island’s landscape. As a sea stack, it is a strong rock shaped by wave erosion, with regenerating pine trees at its peak.
Jeongbang Waterfall - Jeongbang Falls is Asia’s only waterfall that directly flows into the ocean. An inscription on the waterfall’s wall reads “Seobulgwacha”, referring to Seobul passing by this location.
