Jasper Food Tours is thrilled to announce its grand opening in Jasper National Park! Starting May 26, 2018, foodies and adventurers alike are welcomed to join in daily Downtown Foodie Tours, the first ever culinary walking tour through Jasper’s downtown core.

Exploring and learning about Jasper has never been so delicious. Meeting daily at 2:30 PM at the Visitor Information Centre lawn, the 3-hour walking tour brings guests around the town of Jasper sharing history while travelling between four local restaurants and visiting points of interest along the way. At each restaurant, guests will try a top dish and a perfectly paired boozy drink to experience the real taste of Jasper’s food scene.

What’s on the menu? Not telling. It’s all part of the adventure.

As guests cruise between each scrumptious stop they will be enjoying not only exquisite eats but some of Jasper’s tastiest tales by getting the rundown of the bewildering history of this spectacular mountain town. The goal? For each guest to leave full, in both body and mind, with memories and cravings for a lifetime!

Join us on the Downtown Foodie Tour - a short guided walk over 3 hours where you will be visiting four restaurants and tasting four carefully handpicked dishes, each paired with an alcoholic beverage. Along the way you will learn about Jasper’s history and taking in some of the town’s tastiest tales.

Great introduction to Jasper! - What a perfect way to get to know Jasper! Tasha was our guide, and did an awesome job not just explaining the history or significance of the food/drink/establishment, but also the history of the town. The four stops were spread out nicely but we were still quite full at the end. Would definitely recommend this tour to any foodies in Jasper!

Great food tour ! - Had a great afternoon with Tasha as our guide , she was very friendly and informative, we had a lovely group of 6 people, we were very impressed with Tasha’s knowledge of the area and her general knowledge , the murals and their meanings were brilliant to see. we really enjoyed the different food and drink at each restaurant we went to, we visited 4 in all. Great way to spend an afternoon in Jasper , recommend doing it at the beginning of your stay as you can then go back and visit some of the restaurants

Excellent Food Tour! - Tour guide, Nic, was excellent. Food was delicious, and they accommodated food allergies in our group very well. We thought the selection of restaurants and menu choices showcased the Jasper food scene really well.

A great experience - An excellent introduction to Jasper's restaurant scene. Our guide Nic was personable and full of stories about the town's history and showed us some unique landmarks as well. The restaurants were all well-chosen and offered a wide variety of food and drinks as samples. We enjoyed talking and sampling food with the other couples in our tour group. It was a very worthwhile investment.

Great good tour with history - Tour lasted 3 hours with 4 major food stops and other history stops as well. Guide was local and informative. Actual food portions at each restaurant (not bites) so come hungry. Alcoholic drink at each food stop. Food was very tasty and well presented.

Heaps of fun - Heaps of fun! Small town so short walks only to local eateries and bars. Delicious food, drink at each venue. Sarah, our guide, grew up here and was outstanding- full of info but also local town knowledge, anecdotes and pride in her community. Really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon in this beautiful town.

Excellent and delicious experience! - Don’t miss this experience! Best to book ahead either on the web, or thru your hotels concierge. Have a good breakfast and skip lunch. The tour starts at 2:30 in front of the Visitor Center. My guide was Natasha, a young, energetic, woman well versed food and wine culture as well as local history and lore. We made four stops at different style restaurants, and at each enjoyed a good-size appetizer paired with either a specific beer or wine. As I don’t drink, I was offered a soft drink, a mocktail, and tea/coffee. You won’t need more than a snack for dinner.

If only I could run it back over again - Our guide Nicolas was amazing. He knew not only about the town and the food but had knowledge about Canada as a whole. I had a very amazing time with my tour mates. I got to try new and amazing foods. I now know where the amazing food places are as well as some of the hidden murals within town. Easily would do it all over again.

Jasper Food Tour - This is a must do experience while in Jasper!! Nick was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The food and alcohol were intentionally selected and delicious. We instantly felt like we were having dinner with friends. They were also able to accommodate mine and my husbands tree nut allergy. 10/10 recommend!!

Definitely do this in Jasper. - What a great and interesting experience from beginning to end with great company. The food and drinks were excellent and more than enough. Well worth the money and I thoroughly recommend it.
