Athabasca Falls - Starting at the base of the Athabasca Falls, you’ll raft 15 km down the majestic Athabasca Valley. This 3-hour round trip provides spectacular canyon scenery that combined with moderate rapids, make this an adventure trip ideal for the whole family.
After a 30-minute bus drive from town, you’ll be suited up in your rafting gear and receive a safety talk. Then there is a 5-minute portage down a road (built for Marilyn Monroe!) to the river.
The river trip starts with the first set of rapids only being seconds away. Once these rapids have soaked everyone in the raft, you’ll find yourself in a spectacular canyon only seen from the river. For the next 30-minutes, a combination of rapids and flat sections you can enjoy the scenery and enjoy the natural surroundings. It is just you and the river.
The Falls trip ends with another set of rapids and amazing views of the Athabasca River valley. Once back on the highway, it is about 20 minutes to the townsite.

Create lasting memories on the white water rivers of Jasper on this 3-hour Athabasca River Canyon Run. Your guides are trained and committed to sharing incredible white water rafting experiences with you and your family. The magnificent scenery of the Canadian Rockies and Jasper National Park surrounds you while you raft. Look for wildlife along the river banks or simply enjoy the lively white water rapids.

- Bring water and a towel for the bus
- Late and No Show Policy - Please double check the date, time and pick up location on your confirmation. Our primary pick up location is the RV Parking Lot and scheduled departure times are based on this location. Out of respect for other guests, we ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. If you have chosen a pick up location other than the RV Parking Lot, please note the pick up time for your location. There will be no refund provided if you arrive after departure time or do not show for the date and time of your scheduled trip.

Next to the Jasper Home Building Center (706 Sleepy Hollow Road), and across the railway tracks from the set of traffic lights at Connaught Drive and Hazel Avenue. Look for our blue or yellow school buses with yellow rafts on the trailer.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your departure time.

Give it a go! You won’t regret it. - Brilliant trip with Abbi. Looked after us well ( as did rest of the team). Felt safe but also exciting and the scenery and quiet in the river was amazing. Loved getting chance for a dip in the water. Thank you!

Experienced Outfit and Fun Activity For a Few Hours - Fantastic operation all around. Organized and friendly and accommodated our youngest child (8) while keeping it fun for our older children (13 and 16). Some fun little waves for the kids. If you're looking for A LOT of action, this trip in August might not be the best choice. But if you're looking for a fun trip that moves at a brisk pace with some incredible views and a number of fun rapids, this is the choice. We have Erin as our guide and she was as friendly as could be.

Amazing rafting experience - An amazing white water rafting trip down the Athabasca river with Amir, he was great fun and during the calmer waters gave us information on the area, showed us Osprey nests etc. We felt in safe hands and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

A must do fun adventure for Jasper - We’re new to white water rafting for me and my husband and it was awesome! We had a blast!!! Our guide Erin was absolutely fabulous, friendly, fun, engaging and shared so much information about rafting and the area around us as we went down the river. The staff Luke, Ellie and Annaja were friendly! They are organized, know what to do to make our experience enjoyable! Erin gave clear instructions, and made our trip down the River so much fun and memorable. The gear was clean but the paddling mitts need to be replaced as some have holes in them.
The first half of the run is plenty of fun despite being only class two. Last leg of the run is peaceful and allows taking in the gorgeous scenery. We highly recommend this tour with Jasper Rafting Adventures company!!!!

Great experience whitewater rafting in Jasper - It was the first time white water rafting for everyone in our boat. And it was a wonderful experience. Our guide was absolutely fabulous and shared so much information about rafting and the area around us that we saw as we went down the river.

Best rafting experience ever!!! - Was so fun to go on this ride Erin and Annaja were awesome hosts and Amir was an awesome guide so fun! I regret not going in to swim because my partner said it was awesome!! Hope to book again next time we’re in jasper!!

A vacation must when in Jasper - Fourth time with this company, always a great experience, have always included new family and friends on this yearly adventure to the beauty of Jasper. Highly recommend for those new or as an introduction to whitewater rafting. Always super friendly and knowledgeable staff !!

Family fun! - First time rafting with our young children ages 6 and 5 and Lachie, Jen and Candice were beyond kind and accommodating with them.
Lachie was our guide, he was super knowledgeable and was very considerate of our children. The trip was super fun and we felt safe the whole time. The gear was clean and they had the right sizes for our kids as well.
Also provided a shuttle pick up from JPL.
