"Curitiba Delight: Modern Wonders and Timeless Charm" - My trip to Curitiba was nothing short of extraordinary. The city's unique blend of modernity and green spaces left me captivated. From the innovative urban planning to the picturesque botanical gardens, every moment was a delightful discovery. The local cuisine offered a palate-pleasing journey, and the warm hospitality of the people added a special charm. Curitiba's rich cultural tapestry, vibrant street art, and efficient public transportation made exploring effortless. It's a destination that seamlessly balances tradition and progress, making my experience truly unforgettable.

One of the prettiest Train Trips - This is a wonderful trip and well arranged by Viator and Gray line. The trip was well planned and the agent came to pick up at the designated time in the hotel lobby. You are taken to the train station and there is a huge crowd going to Morretes. There are many coaches on the train. Our cab had a viewing area in the middle for wide views. The staff in the train were the best. They gave a nice presentation and you could get unlimited drinks, even beer, with a snack box. At Morretes, the guide picks you up in a van and the first stop is a restaurant where you try the local dish, Borreado. It is a slow cooked meat dish, eaten with cassava flour, garnishes, banana etc. After a lunch stop, we went to a interactive park where there was a an exhibit on the history of Parana state. Commentary is in Portuguese, but there are signs in English to follow along. After this, we were driven to the lovely bay city of Antonina for 20 minute stop. It has pretty sights. Later, we were taken by road back to our hotel in Morretes. All in all, it was a fun and education trip. The train through an Atlantic forest is amazing.

Loved the train ride. - Don’t visit too early or on a cloudy day. A perfect whole day trip. I would do it again the other way around next time.

Wonderful day on the Serra Verde Express train with a delicious lunch. Flavia our guide gave so many details - Well worth doing this trip. We were fortunate to be in the last carriage with a veranda so had a good view. We were served a snack box and drinks (coffee sodas beer) were included the whole journey. We were the only English speaking members of the group and our guide Flavia had to work extra hard to deliver info in both Portuguese and English. She was jolly all day and clearly loves her job and people. Lunch was a big surprise. Absolutely delicious and lots of food. Be warned the 70km return trip by road back to Curitiba took over 3 hours. During December 22 there was a landslide and the highway reduced to one lane so long queues crawling all the way. Should have taken 90 mins. 12 hour day was exhausting but well worthwhile for the experience. Hopefully the road will be repaired soon

Beautiful train ride - This a great train ride. It was cloudy/rainy, so we couldn't see all the sites well. But it was still very enjoyable.

Being in the town after... - Being in the town after the meal to putt feet in the river was an unexpected surprise. The van ride home was extremely bumpy because of the stone road and many turns.

Fun Train Ride - Love picturesque, vintage train rides so this was right up my alley! Unfortunately, we had bad weather which caused train delays, reduced views, and lots of return traffic. Not the agency's fault at all. The guide was very helpful. His English was good and he made a great deal of effort to ensure I felt welcomed and had the same information as everyone else. Each luxury train carriage is different from the other. The interior of the caboose wasn't as charming as others, but we had the benefit of a huge outside area bringing up the rear of the train. This offered us a great space to enjoy the ride and take wonderful photos. It was a particularly cold morning. They offered coffee but that was the only hot beverage option. It would be nice if there were more hot options

Uncomfortable train trip in Curitiba. - It was a very long trip with not much to see. The trees along side the railway are masking the few things to see. the diesel locomotives are not in good condition and emit a lot of smoke. what is unpleasant in the tunnels. The food served is typical and pretty good. I will probably not recommend it to friends.

Nice train ride, but the restaurant was awesome. - The train ride was ok. So many people and the whole process to board takes too long. The best part was the restaurant in Antonina, the food was simple and tastes awesome and hosts were incredible. The staff in the restaurant was polite and professional. Would recomend that restaurant to anyone.
