Fuji Trip 2024 - The views were amazing and our driver, Mian was very helpful. Will recommend to use the service especially when you’re travelling with small kids.

Great experience with Dokotrip - We booked a Toyota Hiace for our trip to Hakone and Mount Fuji. Our driver Mr Mian was a gem of a person - he guided us on everything. We can't thank him enough for the timely reminders he gave us for moving to the next destinations so that we reach there on time before attractions close for the day. He ensured that we had a memorable day. I highly recommend Dokotrip & Mr Mian as your driver / guide.

Best Way to Tour Mt. Fuji Area! - Prince was an excellent driver and shared great local and historical information. We loved having the van all to ourselves (3 of us) allowing us a bit of freedom and flexibility within the day’s schedule. This trip allows for exceptional photography and a bit of tourist/gift shopping. Several great ice cream places, but if possible wait until the last stop at the gardens for the best ice cream and amazing flower gardens with Mt. Fuji views. We had a great day and would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Mt Fuji - Our guide was Sho, who was polite, respectful and catered to our needs and suggestions. He tailored the itinerary for us according to the weather. He was knowledgeable and provided us with information and brought us to excellent photo spots. An awesome experience.

Great day trip to Fuji Kawaguchiko! - Thank you Mian for the wonderful day trip to Kawaguchiko! Mian was punctual and ensured we had a smooth ride from Tokyo :) He made an effort to explain the history of every attraction and accommodated our requests to alter the itinerary along the trip.
Overall the trip was fruitful and we had an enjoyable time. Highly recommended!

The Sites of Mt Fuji - We had a guided private tour to see Mt Fuji. The itinerary that was recommended was great and provided a number of interesting views of Mt Fuji. The guide was adaptable to a few changes we wanted and also spent time to explain the history and tips for each of the sites we visitied. English was very good and easy to understand. The trip to the historic village was an unexpected treat as was the flower gardens with Fuji-san in the background.

Excellent experience!!! - We had a wonderful experience with our first trip to mt Fuji!. Our driver Shahan (Sho) San was extra helpful in providing the necessary tips and guidance whenever needed. The vehicle provided was very neat and clean. A baby seat was also provided as I had a 18 month old kid.

Worth it! - Mian was great - on time, good communication, very knowledgeable, came with an itinerary but let us decide decide what to do (and advise us on what maybe isn't worth the time). 100% worth the reasonable fee for the flexibility and being able to move at our own pace.

Hidden fees/ would not book again. - Would not book again.
This is not a tour. This is a hired car and will not come with any knowledge on there area.
The cons: although the outlet mall is listed on the number of stops, they charged us an extra ¥10,000 or $63 cash which I think is disingenuous from the companies perspective to list something as included then charge so much more and not tell us ahead of time those were the fees. They said it was parking. We were there for 1.5 hours the online parking fee listed was $1600 yen. Not sure where this 8,500 yen difference is coming from. The driver is also a smoker and once we came back from the stop the car smelt like smoke (he clearly did not smoke in the car but the smell lingered and was not good) I recognize I am sensitive to smoke smell be this was not a cheap rental and I do feel entitled not to smell this. Note this is more like a taxi service than a tour ie. Anything beyond a drop off pick up should not be expected
The pros: he was responsive and picked us up quickly from each location. Made a good suggestion to go on a speedboat. Arrived on time.
