Saint Ann Parish - Nine Mile is a district in Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica, situated a few miles south of Brown’s Town. In 2009, the district had an estimated population of 300. The renowned reggae artist and advocate for peace, Bob Marley, was born in this location on February 6, 1945, and his final resting place is also here.
Bob Marley’s residence is a notable feature of the village, along with his Mausoleum, which is the final resting place for both him and his mother, Cedella Booker. The burial site of Bob Marley is a significant point of interest.
