A few days before leaving we received a text from Steve (SO polite and professional) that he was our main contact and discussed our travel. Upon arriving Steve guided us where to meet Marvin (which is fantastic). Marvin picked us up on a Mercedes Sprinter (Awesome) and was so kind and respectful. Made a couple stops to pick up a few things we wanted for our trip. Never made us feel rushed and only wanted to make sure we had a wonderful experience. When leaving Kemar picked us up at our hotel in a Cadillac Escalade (Awesome too) and drove us back to the airport discussing the culture of Jamaica and answering all of our questions. Booked and paid for a round trip transportation. Received a one way transport, excuses, and extra cost. - - Transport was over 30 minutes late with very little communication. - Purchased services change with no effort to assist you in a resolution. I booked this “luxury” transport thinking it would be a nice addition to our vacation. Almost as soon as we got in our transportation (over 30 minutes late). The driver started to explain that there are often issues with TripAdvisor or Viator and that what we paid probably wasn’t enough. I had booked a round trip transportation to Negril and what I paid had matched the listed prices on TripAdvisor for a transport to Negril. I explained this to him. He then told me it comes down to issues with TripAdvisor, that it didn’t calculate the destination correctly, and that it happens a lot. He then asked me to text him directly with my receipts and such to verify that we didn’t need to pay more. The conversation felt weird to me, and this was immediately confirmed when my wife, who was sitting right next to me, text me to be careful, and that this felt like a scam. Either way, he never contacted me with any further information despite being provided what he asked for. He then spent the almost 2 hour trip complaining about work and how hard it is. I don’t want to paint a picture that he wasn’t nice, he was, but I was hoping for a more private feeling during the transport, and that simple wasn’t the case. A small car would have been better than the Escalade if that is what you desire. Either way, I the last thing I wanted to do was spend 2 hours hearing about the same problems we experience in our day to day lives while on vacation. When it came time for our return trip I contacted this company to confirm our pickup and was met with a decently abrasive response stating that everything was on my contract and that I had never booked a round trip transportation. In the end I paid another company far far less to give me a more comfortable ride back to Montego Bay. The problem could be on them or on how they have their TripAdvisor account setup, either way, it will become your problem and your expense.
