Around 3 PM, the journey from Jaisalmer will commence by car or jeep. On the way to the dunes, two monuments will be visited: Khaba Fort, offering a stunning view of deserted villages and landscapes, and Jassery (Oasis/Lake). Upon reaching the camel point, a camel ride into the Thar Desert will be enjoyed for approximately one and a half hours, culminating in a breathtaking sunset. Each participant will have their own camel. After the sunset, dinner will be prepared over a bonfire, where relaxation on the dunes is encouraged, or participation in cooking with the camel drivers is an option. The meal will be freshly prepared in front of you, featuring Dal, Mixed Vegetables, Rice, Chapati, and some spicy sides, along with dessert. The return to Jaisalmer is expected around 10:00 PM.

Amazing tour! - My partner and I did the sunset safari with dinner, and we had such a great experience. Our guide, Padam, and his helper, Khim, made us feel really comfortable as first-time camel riders. After the ride, they prepared an amazing meal for us while we watched the sunset. It ended up being one of our favorite tours in Jaisalmer. We’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to book a tour.

I recommend the sunset safari and cultural evening - For those who haven't experienced a camel safari, or Rajasthan folk dance and music, this is a must-experience outing.
The whole experience was stress-free and enjoyable. The local experience partner contacted us in advance to inform us of the time for pick up. They were punctual, and showed us the promised sites on the way to the dunes.
We were four senior citizens, and they treated us thoughtfully, making suggestions that were convenient to us as well as age-appropriate. We took short camel rides to the sunset point and experience a short jeep safari too.
On our return to the camp after the safari we were served hot cups of tea and pakodas followed by the cultural performance which was excellent. The performers made it fun and interesting by involving the audience as well.
All in all, a fun-filled evening of experiences and memories.

Camping in the desert - My first desert was so amazing. The guides and camel handlers were also very good people and had a good time!

Stunning experience with great guides - The whole experience was excellent - first our tour guide took us to some tourist spots like the empty village and the oasis, we then went for a camel ride which was so peaceful and clean! And then proceeded to watch sunset and eat dinner in the desert. It was stunning and the food was surprisingly very delicious - they even lit us a fire so we would stay warm! Highly recommend this experience and a great way to promote the culture in Jaisalmer

Absolute peace in the Thar desert - Very beautiful and pleasant both the camel ride and the jeep ride to get into the desert, allows you to have a first contact with the populations living in the desert.
The guide very kind and helpful, as well as the owner of the camels who will also prepare dinner.
The camels were dissellated as soon as we arrived at the place where we had dinner and remained free for the rest of the night.
Great dinner and aperitif cooked completely on site.
Silence and peace really rare in India.
Times respected perfectly.

Beautiful camel ride through the Thar desert - Our hotel Lalgarh arranged a camel safari for us.
Our driver and guide Padam Singh was super friendly and helpful! We were allowed to decide for ourselves where we wanted to spend more time.
On the way we stopped at Ruth National Lake, we were overwhelmed by the silence!
Afterwards we stopped at Khaba Fort where the remains of an old village are now walked by a huge number of peacocks.
Once we arrived at the camels, the two of us were taken for a beautiful walk through the desert guided by Kam, again a super friendly, calm, helpful man.
Along the way we saw eagles, griffon vultures, deer and much more! At the end of the ride we arrived in the sandy desert and freshly cooked for us. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and looked at the stars around a campfire.

Best choice for couples - We had a wonderful intimate desert safari with our guide Padam Singh and Khem. My camel was named Michael Jackson and my partner’s was Al Pacino! We saw so many animals, watched the sunset and had dinner made for us on little fire in the dunes <3

SAND AND SUNSET - Narendar Singh of Lal Garh Desert Safari is a person who truly understands hospitality. Getting stranded by cancellation of my accommodation, he volunteered to provide me lunch at his hotel in Jaisalmer and kept my luggage for safekeeping before arranging an exclusive car for transporting me to the sand dunes which is about 30 kms away from the city. Though the sand dunes were not expansive, it gave an idea of dunes and the camel ride, though bumpy, was enjoyable. Sunset from the sand dune mound was splendid and the colours after sunset, really mesmerising. The cultural programme during the evening with hot snacks and tea represented the folk music of Rajasthan and the dances gave a flavour of the culture. Dinner was typical Rajasthani style and pretty tasty. On the whole a unique experience
