Great experience - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Non-Touristic Overnight Camel Safari with Trotters! We were a group of 6 guests and had the best experience with Trotters on their non-touristic overnight camel safari. Everything felt so natural and peaceful — no crowds, just pure desert beauty. Our camel guides, especially Sagan Bhaiya, were super friendly, caring, and fun. They made us feel comfortable throughout the trip and shared so many interesting stories about desert life. The sunset, the food cooked over the fire, and sleeping under the open sky full of stars was truly unforgettable. It was an authentic experience, not touristy at all — just us, the camels, and the silence of the desert. Highly recommend this safari if you want a real taste of Jaisalmer desert life. Highlight Of 3 Week India Trip - I booked this tour based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews and am glad to say they were 100% on the money and it ended up being one of the highlights of my 3 week visit to Rajthastan. I was really keen to do a trip into the Desert whilst on a 2 night stay in Jaisalmer, but was really put off by most of the options for what looked like glorified campsites that looked overly touristy and not particularly authentic. We were picked up in a Jeep and proceeded to drive out towards the Desert, visiting a local village, small fort building and Water Oasis on the way and learning about the local area. We continued to drive further and further into the bush, and were then met by a team of 3 camel herds and 5 camels. We then travelled the last few miles out to the sand dunes on the camels and set up camp in a totally remote part of the desert just as the sun was going down. The team went to work settling the camels down, and then preparing a small campfire and food for the evening. Food was very simple and freshly made, washed down with lots of Chai Masala, and we then fell asleep on camp beds under the stars. Being away from any light pollution meant that the view of the sky was incredible. We then watched the most spectacular sunrise over the dunes whilst the guides started up the fire again to make a simple breakfast. This tour is for anyone who wants a remote, authentic desert camping experience. There was no toilet, no shower, no catering tent, no touristy evening dancing entertainment etc. - just an amazing opportunity to experience the natural beauty of this part of the world. The next morning, after breakfast, we packed up and rode the camels back to the original meeting point, followed by a Jeep drive back into the city. The team were kind enough to offer us the use of the hostel they also run to take a shower before onward travel which was much appreciated. I travelled as a Solo female traveller, and there was another couple who were also on the same trip which I appreciated. The team were very responsive to queries by WhatsApp, and confirmed who else would be on the trip when I asked. Would not hesitate to recommend and would also love to repeat if I am back again in Jaisalmer.

Great Trip, sleeping under the stars - Very nice tour, the dinner was delicious and the sunset and stargazing was beautiful. It was only our group and felt very untouristic. Perfect trip to take from Jaisalmer.

Personal and intimate overnight safari - Me and my partner had an amazing experience with the overnight safari. We read about them in the lonely planet book and it didn’t disappoint. Was very immersive and also got to experience a sense of community while doing to and from the safari, you get to drink chai with people from their village. The overnight experience was filled with plenty of laughs, great food and singing and music was a wonderful expirence

Best experience - Our desert safari with Trotters Jaisalmer was beyond expectations. The camels were well cared for and so calm, making the ride very enjoyable. The guides were friendly, attentive, and made us feel like part of their family. We loved reaching the majestic sand dunes far away from the usual tourist spots—quiet, clean, and absolutely magical. At night, lying on freshly prepared clean beds under the sparkling sky, we had one of the most memorable moments of our journey. 🌌✨ The food cooked fresh on the fire was delicious, and the whole experience felt authentic and unique. Camel experience amazing! - Absolutely amazing experience. Our camel men guides (Prekash and Hamad) treated us like kings and queens. Our jeep driver (Chhagan) took us to the start of the safari, then afterwards invited us to home village. An amazing honour! Every part of the safari experience was a highlight!
