Would 100% recommend when in Jaisalmer - Truly a wonderful experience! We really wanted to do this overnight camel safari and it was as good as we dreamed of. The camels were fantastic and our guides took really good care of us, even getting a birthday cake for me as it was my birthday! It was such a sweet surprise to get it by the campfire after a night of music and laughters. We also had a good night sleep under the cosy warm blankets (they’re really thick).

Overnight desert camel safari with toddlers and kids - We did Overnight Camel Desert Safari with Trotters. The experience of camel rides, sleeping in open desert and star gazing was an offbeat and a memorable experience.
The dessert atmosphere was surreal.
The Trotters team was very helpful with booking process and understanding our needs since we were travelling with a 3 year old kid. They ensured that all help was provided to us. A separate camping tent was provided for the kid. The camp team also prepared a non-spicy meal and arranged milk for the kid.
Our guide cum driver (Mr. Chhagan) was very friendly and very helpful to make us feel safe and comfortable. He showed us the Oasis and arranged for village house visit.
We were also accompanied by a family with kids from Netherlands and a solo traveller from Japan. It was nice knowing them and their culture. The small group size provided privacy and avoid chaos at other touristy sand dunes.
A heartful thanks to Trotters team, camp team and camel guides for the support.

That's a awesome new year ❤️ - I stayed several days in the desert and it was an amazing experience.
I discovered local food, learned many songs with the desert safari men, and spent my days enjoying the sun and having fun with my desert friends.
They have great jokes and many funny stories.
I spent one of the best Christmas and New Year’s Eve of my life in the desert — wearing a T-shirt! 🐪☀️
I will never forget this experience

An experience which I will cherish for ever - We began our Rajasthan journey in Jaisalmer with Trotters Tours & Travel — and what an unforgettable start it was! The experience was raw, authentic, and truly enriching. Sleeping under the open desert sky was nothing short of magical, and the entire team ensured we felt safe, comfortable, and completely at ease throughout.
A special thanks to Jalam for his seamless coordination and guidance from the very beginning, and to Pusharam, Chagan, and the entire team for their warm hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our trip memorable.
I would highly recommend Trotters Tours & Travel to anyone who wants to experience the joy of spending a night beneath the stars in the wild, beautiful deserts of Rajasthan.

Look no further: Trotters Tours provided a perfect experience with no signs of any other tourists. - From many excursions, tours and trips I have done, this Trotters Tour was the most perfectly executed. Thank you to the whole team.
It is a local desert-family run business offering an experience that feels as non-touristy as you’d want (despite it obviously being a touristy thing to do.)
We did the overnight “sleep under the stars” tour with the two camel safaris and I can wholeheartedly say “Just book it!”
The driver / guide, the camel keepers, the campfire chefs were all amazing - warm, friendly and unobtrusive but constantly adding to the enjoyment topped off by a few of them singing some beautiful songs around the campfire after dinner - thank you for that!(especially for the hilarious “Old MacDonald had a farm” song at the end. We were laughing so much that he couldn’t even finish!)
The boss/owner in town was likeable: warm, friendly and non-pushy.
Apart from the wonderful guides and workers who came with us to make camp, the second best thing, which was actually the Jewel in the crown of going with Trotter’s Tours, was the location of their campsite.
It was spotlessly clean (it was left exactly as it was when we arrived) and was as quintessentially as “Desert Sand Dune” as you could wish to dream about. Rolling golden sand dunes with a gorgeous starry sky. No sound or sight of any other groups or tours for miles. It is not like some of the over-saturated dunes people get bussed to.
Finally: the camels were all treated respectfully and kindly. I never saw one mistreated or snapped at and whilst I can’t claim I am a camel zoologist, they were all looking healthy and had vigour and were quite content to do what was expected without being threatened or provoked.

Super! - Amazing adventure in the desert! The ride with the camel was cool and the sand dunes was beautiful when we arrive for the sunset. The night outside without the noise of the city was perfect!
