Special camel desert safari - We had a great time. Collected from our hotel. Another couple came for the experience of the desert but chose not to do the camel ride or stay overnight. Good visits to places of cultural interest en route. Then the camel ride. Awesome. We’re not young but very doable. An hour’s walk into the desert to our overnight spot. No one else around, perfect sunset, lovely veg Thali and camp fire. We brought some wine to enjoy. Slept under a planetarium sky. Woke early to watch the sun rise. Had breakfast and returned by camel to our transport All very special and unique. Very well organised and delivered as promised

Beautiful experience. 10 and praise. - Beautiful experience. The welcome at Pleasant Haveli, the first part by jeep to see the lake where the villages make water and the abandoned fort, then the meeting with the camel driver who brought us the camels and accompanied us into the desert. Arriving on the dunes, we watched the sunset as he prepared dinner over the fire. After dinner he lit the fire and provided wood to keep it burning, it was New Year's Eve. After midnight we're lying down to sleep on cots with lots of blankets for the cold and the damp. Finally breakfast and camel ride back. A unique and unforgettable experience. And when we returned to the Pleasant they gave us a room to shower and change, kept our backpacks in storage until the evening and called a tuctuc to accompany us. All very kind. 10 and praise.

Great desert safari tour in Jaisalmer - We loved our desert safari tour. Ukka is a great guide, and the tour takes you to sand dunes away from the crowds where you can watch the sunset with a chai. Highly recommend.

Can warmly recommend... - Can warmly recommend this camel safari where Ukka was excellent as a guide and driver. Even the camels and the camel driver did their job. The car may not have been of the newest condition, but the tour was as described and we were alone under the stars in the desert this night. Also worked great at Pleasant haveli, with transfer from the train station when we arrived and access to shower facilities and luggage storage both before and after the desert tour. Also, it was a very nice restaurant upstairs with good food. Pleasant haveli was also near attractions.

Starry night in the desert. - We were the only ones to go out in the desert this afternoon, so it was really non-tourist and the star night was great. A well-organized excursion where driver Ukka was excellent in every way, so were camel driver and camels Romeo and Jonny. The food they arranged for us was delicious. Pleasant haveli was also a cozy place near the fort where you could have your luggage while in the desert and shower facilities if you wanted. Can warmly recommend.

A peaceful overnight stay in the Thar desert. - We had an amazing experience in the desert with good food, warm beds, plenty of water and chai and even an ice cold beer. Ukka amd Vicramnlooked after us really well and the camels behaved themselves and gave us a memorable 45 minute ride into the peaceful desert until we reached an unspoiled area and set up camp. What we liked best was the sunset and sunrise and seeing the starlit sky with very little light pollution to detract from its beauty. We had the desert experience we were hoping for with no artificial lights, dancing and music. We enjoyed singing around the campfire with the two men, a perfect escape to the desert.

Camel Safari in Thar desert - Great safari with Ukka who accompanied us throughout the trip. Supervision at the top, non-tourist place, we were alone in the world.

Enjoy the tranquility of the desert with this tour - We were alone with my partner so the experience was very intimate and quiet. Pleasant Haveli's attention was very good, we were given complimentary waters before starting the tour, and upon returning we were able to shower. Uka took us to the desert in his jeep and told us about his life in India. We managed to see antelopes and a desert fox on the way! The place where we spent the night was on some large sand dumbbells, ideal for photographing. The food was great (they prepared it without spiciness for us) and the beds (under the starry sky) were comfortable and warm. We recommend this experience to those who want to enjoy the tranquility of the Indian desert, away from large groups and noise.

Definitely one for the bucket list - We had a great experience. The desert at night was breathtaking and the tour was very well organized and comfortable. The guides were very friendly and helpful. Drive there was not too long and we had a lot of time for a relaxing camel ride to the camp spot, on a dune. Beds were comfy with fresh linens and a warm blanket. Dinner and breakfast were great too. Most of all, sunset and sunrise and especially the start night were gorgeous.

An unforgettable moment - A tour in the desert REALLY non-tourist: after visiting an abandoned village and a pretty fort, our guide Ukka took us to the great desert dunes where, with the help of a friend, they cooked us a delicious typical Indian and hearty meal! We saw antelopes, camels on the loose, crossed sublime landscapes and watched the stars at length after the meal. In short a moment out of time and very very very our PLEASANT 😉
