- Amber Palace - Begin your journey with a pickup from your hotel or any location in Delhi at 5am, followed by a transfer to New Delhi Train Station. Here, you will board a superfast deluxe train to Jaipur, departing at 6am. Enjoy breakfast on board while taking in the scenic countryside views during the 4-hour and 30-minute journey to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur Train Station at 10:30am, a representative or driver will greet you at the main exit gate, holding a sign with your name. You will then board a private vehicle for a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. The first stop is Amber Fort, perched on a ridge just outside Jaipur City, with its stunning reflection in the lake below. On the return to Jaipur city, enjoy a photo stop at Jal Mahal, the Rajput-style “Water Palace” located in the center of Man Sarobar Lake. Although the lake may dry up in summer, the winter monsoons often transform it into a picturesque lake filled with water hyacinths. A lunch break follows, with a meal provided at an air-conditioned restaurant. Next, take a photo tour of Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of the Winds, built in 1799 A.D. This five-story pink sandstone building features semi-octagonal and intricately honeycombed windows. Afterward, visit the City Palace, the former royal residence in the heart of the old city, showcasing a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture with its carved arches and detailed columns. Finally, explore the Observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned as India’s most significant, comprehensive, and best-preserved historic observatory. If time allows, enjoy an evening shopping tour in Jaipur, where you can find popular items such as precious gemstones, silver jewelry, bangles, clothing, blue pottery, textiles, and more. After a memorable day, transfer to Jaipur Train Station for a 5:50pm departure. Dinner will be served on board as you travel back to New Delhi Train Station, arriving at 10:40pm. Upon arrival, a representative or driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel or any location in Delhi.
