Situated in Amer, a town covering 4 square kilometers and located 11 kilometers from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, this fort is perched high on a hill and is a popular tourist attraction. Amer Fort is renowned for its imaginative Hindu architectural elements. With its expansive ramparts, numerous gates, and cobbled pathways, the fort overlooks Maota Lake, the primary water source for the Amer Palace.
- Panna Meena ka Kund - The next destination is Panna Meena Kund, Jaipur’s only fully restored and operational stepwell. This historic stepwell and rainwater catchment is famous for its picturesque symmetrical stairways.
- Royal Gaitor Tombs - The Royal Gaitor is a magnificent palace nestled in a beautiful valley at the base of a mountain. Its white marble exterior gives it a majestic appearance. Although located slightly on the outskirts of the old town, it is certainly worth the drive. The architecture is stunning and impressive, showcasing Indian glory with marble sculptures, small coves, domes with reliefs, and a fairytale-like atmosphere.
- Jal Mahal - Jal Mahal, or the Water Palace, is one of the most majestic sights in Jaipur. This beautiful palace is situated in the middle of a lake. While visitors cannot enter the palace, it can be admired from the distant shores. Jal Mahal is an exceptional example of Rajput culture. The palace and the surrounding lake were renovated and expanded in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber. The magnificent five-story building is constructed from red sandstone.
- City Palace of Jaipur - The tour continues to the City Palace, one of the most famous attractions and a major landmark in Jaipur. This beautiful complex was designed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign. Among the various fortifications and castles of Jaipur, the City Palace stands out with its excellent art and architecture. The complex covers a large area, divided into a series of gardens, courtyards, and structures. Initially, Raja Jai Singh designed the outer wall, and the additional lavish structures were added later by succeeding kings.
- Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - Jantar Mantar is one of the renowned monuments in Jaipur, Rajasthan, featuring a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments. Built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh and completed in 1738 CE, it includes the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. As the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world, it is a special destination for travelers.

Built in 1799 by Sawai Pratap Singh, it was designed for the royal household to observe everyday life in the city.
