Although located slightly on the outskirts of the old town, it is certainly worth the drive. The architecture is stunning and impressive, showcasing Indian glory with marble sculptures, small coves, domes with reliefs, and a fairytale-like atmosphere.
• Jal Mahal - Jal Mahal, or the Water Palace, is one of the most majestic sights in Jaipur. This beautiful palace is situated in the middle of a lake. While visitors cannot enter the palace, it can be admired from the distant shores. Jal Mahal is an exceptional example of Rajput culture. The palace and the surrounding lake were renovated and expanded in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber. The magnificent five-story building is constructed from red sandstone.

Built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh and completed in 1738 CE, it includes the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
