A 30-minute visit is sufficient for this place. Hawa Mahal has 4 floors, each designed for a specific purpose. The top offers city views, while the middle floors feature colorful lattice windows.
• Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - Next, visit Jantar Mantar, the most renowned of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh II in India. It’s a great place to see centuries-old astronomical instruments and learn the science behind them. It boasts the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is near City Palace and Hawa Mahal.
• City Palace of Jaipur - After Jantar Mantar, we will explore the City Palace Complex, one of Jaipur’s major tourist attractions. A minimum of 2 hours is needed to explore this palace. Visiting City Palace feels like stepping into a past era filled with grandeur, richness, and wonder. The City Palace is famous for its captivating architecture, stunning courtyards, intricate designs, and impressive museums.
• Jal Mahal - A visit to this beautiful palace in the water takes no more than 10-15 minutes, perfect for a photo stop. There is no entry to the palace; it can be viewed from the road. Jal Mahal offers a charming view of Man Sagar Lake and the surrounding Nahargarh hills.
• Royal Gaitor Tumbas - Royal Gaitor Tumbas is exactly what it sounds like—a maharaja’s tomb. Located slightly on the outskirts of the old city, it is certainly worth a visit. You will find exquisitely carved marble tombs and pillars, small coves, domes with reliefs, and a fairytale-like atmosphere. This place is perfect for photography enthusiasts.
• Panna Meena ka Kund - To experience and understand the architectural brilliance, symmetry, and science behind the Kund (stepped well), you should spend about half an hour here. The architectural beauty of Panna Meena Ka Kund showcases a symmetrical arrangement of stairs in a zigzag pattern with octagonal gazebos and small buildings offering wide views of the surrounding area. • Isarlat Sargasooli - Constructed in 1749 by King Ishwari Singh to commemorate his victory over Raja Madho Singh, the Sargasuli Tower is a majestic example of Vaastushaastra architecture. As the tallest historical building in Jaipur, this tower also served as a watchtower for the palace.
