Don’t Hesitate to Book with Travel Fair India! - My family and I booked a trip with Travel Fair India without being sure of what to expect. Jyoti was our planner, and we were delighted with her professionalism, kindness, and continuous communication. She worked very hard on making our journey comfortable, fun, and safe. Our driver was Mr. Ravinder Ji, one of the most humane, peaceful, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable drivers you’ll ever meet. Everyday, he took good care of us, guiding us to useful answers to all of our questions. He is such a thoughtful person that he even bought snacks for us and left them in the car for our long driving hours between cities. Our trip with Travel Fair India exceeded our expectations, and we are returning to India for sure! What a breathtaking country with so much culture, history, and beauty to appreciate! Maya

Wonderful Golden Triangle Tour - My family and I planned our Golden Triangle tour (December 21, 2024 to December 27) through Travel Fair. We were assigned to Nandini Arya. She did an excellent job from start to finish. She developed an itinerary and then tailored it to our specific needs. She responded almost immediately when I asked her questions in spite of our time difference. Once we began our tour, she stayed in touch with us every day to make sure everything was good and that we were enjoying our trip. We met her in person when we visited Qutb Minar. The guides and drivers were excellent and really appreciated their willingness to explain things in a kid friendly way so my nieces (ages 6 and 9) could understand. It was a very memorable trip and would not hesitate to recommend Travel Fair or Nandini.

Great trip to India - highly recommended! - This trip covered so much! The three cities, major historical sites, great experiences. The hotel accommodations and travel arrangements by the tour group were seamless. Even with terrible air quality, we got to see the sites and explore all around the triangle. Our agent, Ritu, was friendly and checked in regularly. The hotels were great in safe locations easily to explore on foot after our wonderful arranged tours. Our tour guide/driver, Ravinder was amazing. Making sure we were shown the best sites, great insider information and a heads up on avoiding uncomfortable interactions or non-sanctioned guides at sites. He was professional, friendly and a joy to spend the week with. He was accommodating and always made sure we felt comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!

Great tour of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur - This was a great tour that I was nervous about booking on the internet. It worked out great. Travel Fair India met us at the Delhi airport and drove the rest of the way around Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and back to Delhi. Jyoti Singh was the organizer/tour manager and did a great job of follow up. Mr. Bunty was our driver for 6 days and I could not have asked for a better, kinder and more professional driver in India, Mr. Bunty was wondeful and a great addition to the team. At each city we had a local guide provided to guide us around and tell us the history and cultural issues. All three were very knowledgeable and their English was good. Overall, it was a wonderful 6 days staying at some very nice hotels. Driving in India is not for the faint of heart, but Mr. Bunty was terriffic at negotiating the traffic and moving us safely to the next destination.

Well-organized tour to discover the Golden Triangle - We booked a private tour for 8 days in April 2024 to visit the Golden Triangle. Jyoti organized the itinerary the same day we contacted Travel Fair India, she replied very quickly and professionally which gave us a lot of confidence. She even changed one of the hotels to include one that we asked her we wanted to go. We paid some booking fees online and the rest once we arrived in Delhi (we paid online using our debit card, and Travel Fair India added 2.5% extra to the total cost for "bank charges"). When we arrived at Delhi airport our driver Ravinder was waiting for us ready to start the adventure. The car was big and very clean. Ravinder was very helpful, knowledgeable and made our trip very pleasant. He speaks fluent English and even a bit of Spanish! He explained anecdotes, answered all our questions about Indian culture, recommended places to eat, tips for our safety, and made a lot of jokes which made the long drives even more enjoyable. He always came on time, and adapted to our schedule and needs. During the trip Jyoti was also available and she was able to modify the tour when we asked for some modifications on the go. Having local guides in every city was a great plus, Jyoti and Ravinder picked the best guides. Specially the guide in Agra, Shyam was very knowledgeable and made us travel in time and immerse ourselves in the intriguing stories of the Mughal emperors and their families. It was our first time in India and we are very grateful we took this tour because it was a cultural shock for us in many ways and made things very easy and comfortable. Advice to other travelers: - Check the suggested hotels before confirming them, some of the ones suggested were very far from the city center. - Make sure you understand the "tipping culture" in India, all the guides expect a tip and we were not aware of this as we already paid everything in advance, it was very uncomfortable for us that we come from non-tipping countries. - Ask how much cash money for the entrances you have to bring each day because in most places they just accept cash and Indian rupees. - Ask your guide to visit the Taj Mahal during sunrise, it was fantastic.

Golden Triangle Trip with family - Our trip began with a warm welcome by our driver Sikander Singh. He was very friendly and very approachable. He drove us straight to Agra, stopping at a Subway on the highway. We reached the hotel (Grand Mercure) around 12 in the night. After deciding to meet at 7:00 next morning, we checked in and went to our room. We found the room small (but very comfy) for 3 people,  as in there was no room for a 3rd bed. One of us slept on the sofa without any complaints. The hotel was very upscale (of course, as its part of The Taj group). Next morning, our guide Tanvir met us at the hotel and set out to see the Taj Mahal. The fog made the Taj Mahal more mysterious and beautiful. After seeing the Taj Mahal for an hour, we went back to the hotel to have breakfast and take some rest. We resumed our Agra sightseeing around 10:30 AM, visiting Itmad-ud-Daula, Agra Fort and Mehtab Garden. Our guide Tanvir was very knowledgeable and explained us each and everything in detail. We were really happy with him. He, then, took us to the cottage industry emporiums. After some shopping, we went back to the hotel. Next morning, around 9:30 AM, we checked out of the hotel, and set out to Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri on the way. We had mixed reactions to the experience. The guide was not good at English and had a very thick accent. We requested him to explain in Hindi as we understand it really well, but he was adamant on explaining everything in his broken English. He did a mediocre job in explaining things, and left us to explore ourselves at one point. The number of beggars, hecklers and vendors really diminished the entire experience. We, then, continued our drive to Jaipur. We checked in to the Hilton Jaipur. The size of the room was of the same as in Agra. One of us settled in the sofa to sleep (sofa being not that comfy as in Agra). After freshening up, we then set out to Choki Dani for dinner. I am glad I added Choki Dani to the itinerary. The experience was something. We really enjoyed it. Next day, after breakfast, we set out to Amer Fort. We were expecting the guide at our hotel, but to our surprise we had to pick him up on our way. We had to drive around a bit to find him. Amer Fort, the elephant ride, the City Palace, and the Jantar Mantar experience was very nice and informative. The guide was very pushy and a bit annoying. He was insisting on us visiting emporiums of his liking and was very pushy. We went back to the hotel, after dropping the guide on our way. Next day, we set out to Delhi. The drive was smooth. By this time we had bonded with our driver, and had good conversations. After reaching Delhi, we checked in to the The Suryaa hotel. We got a shock of our life to see such a torn down 5-star hotel. It was old and dingy. It was definitely not a 5-star standard room. The hallways were dusty and the carpets were torn. The furniture were old and rusty. The uniforms of the staff were not at all clean. We were not at all happy and had a 3-star experience.  After visiting the Akshardham that evening (which was really good experience - especially the Light and Sound water show), we came back to the hotel to take rest. There was no sofa, so we had to adjust in one bed. Next morning, our guide Preeti met us at the hotel. She then took us to an emporium (as it was raining in the morning), and then took us to the Lotus Temple and Gandhi Smriti. Her explanations contained a number of historical oversights and misinterpretations. The Red Fort and India Gate were off limits due to the Republic Day parade preparations. She was very much reluctant to take us to Humayun Tomb and Jama Masjid, which were in the itinerary and we wanted to see badly. She gave lot of explanations which didn't sit well with us, but did not argue with her. She then took us to Qutub Minar and then the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib.   Much thanks to Jyoti for coordinating our Golden Triangle trip—there were some truly memorable highlights for our family, especially Sikander Singh’s support throughout, Tanvir’s excellent guidance in Agra, and experiences like the Taj Mahal, Chokhi Dhani, Amer Fort, City Palace, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar and Akshardham . While we had a few significant issues (notably the Fatehpur Sikri guide experience and the Delhi hotel), overall I’d rate the trip 3/5 stars, and I appreciate your efforts in putting the itinerary together. Lessons Learnt: Lock rooming requirements upfront: Confirm triple occupancy means a real third bed (rollaway) and room size, not a sofa. Specify guide language + style in writing: Require fluent language fit (e.g., Hindi/English), clear pacing, and “no forced shopping.” Control the shopping/“emporium” pattern: Set a cap (e.g., one optional stop) and pre-authorize only what you want. Vet hotels beyond star ratings: Ask for recent renovation status, room photos, and “family comfort” checks (cleanliness, noise, bedding). Confirm daily logistics: “Guide meets in hotel lobby at X time” and backup contact to avoid pickup confusion. Protect must-see items: Mark “non-negotiable” sights and require an alternate plan if closures/weather occur.
