I was expecting amazing.... It was much better than that - This was one of my most unexpected days on my trip. It was incredible and beautiful and memorable! Just a wonderful day. I'd like to share a few things - it's not 2.5 hours. It was more like 4.5 hours. Not complaining! I loved every single minute! Prepare to get wet! We climbed, hiked, swam in rivers, showered in waterfalls! It was amazing! I'd give them 10 stars if I could

Challenging and rewarding hike! - We are a family of 3 active individuals (parents and one teen) there was one other individual on the hike with us and he was an active person, too. This is a challenging hike--all agreed on that. You need decent shoes that you can get wet. Take minimal stuff with you and expect it to get wet. We had a great time hiking with our guide Sebastian. He was encouraging when the ropes that one needs to use to hike up rocks with no hiking path were a challenge. It was a fun trip that we'd recommend to families who are active. Little kids aren't likely to be up to the challenge of the whole hike. We were happy to take a break and have a snack of fruit provided by guide at one of the waterfalls. We were also very happy with the casado lunch and beverage provided afterwards! Do not book this hike if you are looking for a relaxing and low-key hike to waterfalls, this is an active adventure!

Extreme fun! - Pablo and Jefferson, our guides, were excellent. The hike is a bit strenuous, but it’s broken up with dips in pools fed by waterfalls so you can cool off. Quite the adventure, and not for the faint of heart, and we loved it! It was my wife, me and our 13-year-old son and our 11-year-old daughter and they had no problem navigating the hike. The food at the local restaurant afterwards was delightful.

Very well done and enjoyable - Our tour guide, Pablo, was very considerate and understanding during our hike. He also took the time to answer the numerous questions we had about Costa Rica and gave some insight into what it was like when he was younger. He was very knowledgable about the animals that live in the area we were hiking in and overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

Quite the hike, but fun! - We were early and we got an early tour start. Joel took great care of us, made sure we had sure footing. Quite the hike and workout, but we loved it. Finishing it off with a local meal was perfect. Thank you!

Must Do Activity and Request Pablo!! - Absolutely LOVED this excursion with Pablo! The 10 waterfalls hike with Pablo was all of our favorite part of our Costa Rica trip. Pablo was recommended to us from another family that we met and had just done the hike, so we requested him and are so HAPPY we got him. He is extremely knowledgeable and made the whole day fun! He showed us different plants and animals, he let us stay in the water however long we wanted to, he never rushed us or seemed irritated or anything. He also was very safe with us and helped my daughters multiple times without us having to ask or anything. When we were done he took us to his mom’s restaurant to eat lunch and it was the BEST food we had in Costa Rica, we even went back and ate there two more times! Then to top it off Lucy, the dog, followed us up the entire mountain, even climbing the ladder! So happy we did this, it is a must do activity in Costa Rica and you need to request Pablo! Not sure how much they pay, but he deserves a good check, not sure they know how great he is and I will be recommending him to everyone that we know going to Costa Rica!!

A great little adventure (and the meal was excellent) - Thanks to Pablo for an extraordinary outing. My wife and I were his only clients. Pablo was kind, generous in conversation, helpful and mindful of our security at all times. The falls and pools were awesome, the 8 km hike in and out a reasonable challenge but there were a few rickety parts. Wear running shoes and socks - they will get wet within the first minute but will be well worth it!

Must do waterfall hike - This was one of the best vacation tours our family has ever done. Request Pablo as your guide if you can. He speaks perfect English, is very knowledgeable and funny as well. His assistant Johan (not sure of spelling?) was great too! Make sure you have good sneakers or water shoes as you will get wet and there are some slippery parts. The lunch that was provided at the end was delicious. And one can’t forget the cutest 4-legged tour guide Lucy that joined in on our hike.

Awesome experience with Pablo! - Awesome experience! We are looking for an active day and that’s what we got. Lots of steps, climbing, and jumping into pools! We wish the waterfalls were bigger but this experience was a great start. Our guide, Pablo, was awesome too. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the environment we were hiking in. I was glad we were able to enjoy some local food together too!
