Paradise! - My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this day! The boat ride was amazing and we even saw some dolphins. The tour guide- Dianna, was great and super knowledgeable. Snorkeling was so fun and included. The island was beautiful. The the drinks were amazing!! We didn’t want to leave. The only downfall was the travel to get there. We met at the best western and got on a bus to El Jardin, where we had breakfast (not included) then we took another bus to the dock. Both were about 30 minutes. But all well worth it to see the island!

Stop reading, just book it! - The crew on this beach day excursion boat worked like a well oiled machine. Ruben, Eduardo and Capt. Santos really made the experience so much fun for our group of six friends. The boat is clean and safe, the crew are super friendly, attentive and kind. Your glass won’t stay empty long! The ice water is cold, as are the drinks-and everyone enjoyed the picnic lunch. Saw lots of fish while snorkeling and a little wild pig on the beach!

Best of the best! Highly recommended - Thank you with my friend for an amazing experience. We're very happy. The trip was wonderful. We've seen many animals. We were even snorkeling just off the island. Afterwards we were given a snack in the form of fresh fruit and then a delicious lunch. The island is a complete paradise on earth. The workers from inside tours were very nice and helped with everything.

Beautiful excursion - Beautiful island! We started out being picked up at a local hotel and rode about a half hour to a meeting point where we could have breakfast, get snacks or souvenirs. We then rode about another half hour to the boat. It was not a catamaran, but a covered (thankfully) ferry/crabbing type boat. We rode in the water for about a half hour, stopping to see dolphins. After arriving, we could go snorkeling by choice. There was an area designated for us in the shade and near the bar. The lunch was provided and very good. The water is amazing and the beach is beautiful. We stayed for about 4 hours and then took the trek home. It took longer to get back due to stops for other people, but In total it was a 10 hour day with travel being about 60% of that. There are many options to choose from when going to Isla Tortuga and bigger boats too. So build it to your needs. This one was good for us and we enjoyed the day very much!

Tortuga island experience - We had a great time on this tour. It was run very well and it's definitely a great tour if you want to have a little snorkeling experience and then lunch and booze. Honestly, i don't really see this tour as a "family tour". It's more for couples and groups of adults. Once you take the boat drive to Tortuga you get off find your seat and then decide to snorkel or just splash in the water. There is a bar (you do have to pay for alcohol) some is included. Then they feed you a very good lunch. I will say it gets crowded so make reservations early and if you are looking for something that is calm, quiet and less crowded this would not be for you.

Beautiful island tortugas - The tour in general was good , the only reason I didn’t say excellent because the miss communication we had …. I was told the day before I will receive a confirmation with the time and place for pick up and more yhsn two weeks before I sent a message asking for that specific information..( I want to be pick up in my hotel and not to early) that was the reason of the question otherwise I would cancel the tour.. anyway they showed up very late with all information saying that pick up was at other hotel and 6 am … imagine my reaction… I started talking to then back and for thankfully we got into an agreement and I decided to fo my tour…. Besides the miss communication the isla tortuga trip was amazing from the driver , the tour girl and bout workers , good services and the island was beautiful… we had a good time in general. The food was delicious in general was pleasant.

Long day on a below average beach….don’t waste your time. - The tour guides were great and were very informative. They have good instructions in both English and Spanish. They were very accommodating about picking us up from our hotel since the meet up locations was very far away and we didn’t rent a car. The bad things about this tour, first off it was a long day of travel to arrive at Just an ok beach. The beach itself was polluted with garbage and was Rocky to walk on. You had to rent a chair if you wanted to sit anywhere and since we were there for 4 hours you kind of felt trapped. If you wanted to do any activities you had to pay for those as well. Drinks were minimum of $6 even non alcoholic drinks. To use the bathroom you had to pay which means they are encouraging everyone to pee in the ocean…gross! They told us there was fruit for our group. By the time we went to grab some it was gone and they didn’t have anymore. The chicken meal they provided was actually quite yummy and so was the iced tea. It was just a long hot day stuck on a crummy beach. The beaches in Jaco are way nicer. I say don’t waist your time.

This trip was a huge disappointment - This trip was not described very well. It said we left from Jaco . We did leave from Jaco and then took an hour and a half road trip to get to the boat. The boat wasn’t ready for us so we stood around for a half an hour on the way back. The driver was asleep in the car and we waited a half an hour before we realize that I would never recommend this trip.
