Travel back in time with this excursion to Ephesus from Izmir. You will tour the vestiges of one of the most surprising ancient cities in the Eastern Mediterranean.
We will pick you up at the indicated hotel at 8:30 am and travel in a comfortable minibus to Ephesus, an ancient city located on the Ionia coast.
After a trip of an hour and a half, we will reach the site of Ephesus, one of the great tourist attractions in Turkey, since it is one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities in the country. Once there, we will take a guided tour of Ephesus to see some of its monumental jewels, such as the Library of Celsus, one of the most luxurious bibliographic archives of the Roman Empire in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Nearby we will find the Roman Theater. Did you know that it had a capacity for 24,000 people? It is impressive!
After the visit of Ephesus, we take a lunch.
On the other hand, you will also have traditional shopping opportunities for jewelry, leather, or ceramic centers.

Wonderful tour experience in Esphesus - Erman was excellent. He is so knowledgeable about the history (both mythical and archaeological) and took us off the beaten path multiple times to show us cool things.

Absolutely Stunning View and Informative Tour Guide 😍 - My family and I visited the ancient city of Ephesus with our well-informed tour guide, Mr. Erman Uslu whom, I would definitely recommend him to all those who are planning a trip as well. It was simply one of the most mesmerising and captivating attractions that I have visited to date, and to top it off, our tour guide gave us a clear understanding of the glorious history of Ephesus. Great tour, less walking, no hidden charges - We went on the Ephesus tour with Emran. He was on time for our hotel pickup, very knowledgeable about the history of ephesus and turkey in general. His commentary during the tour helped us imagine the whole city very vividly. As we are vegiterion, we appreciated that the buffet had good options for us. water bottles were provided to us and we were never rushed throughout the tour. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

Ephesus tour - The tour was very well planned and organized including the tour, lunch, pick up and drop off. Excellent tour for a small group.
Our guide Erman Uslu was very well communicative, and explained each and every spot in detail. He was jovial, fun and energetic to talk to. He took good care of us. Highly recommend the tour and the the guide as well.

Amazing day in Ephesus! - Erman and his team were amazing from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, personable, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. We had such an amazing time! The highlight of our trip so far, so much so we booked another tour with him and his team to Pamukkale! We highly recommend Erman but am confident that anyone his agency provides will make sure your tour of Ephesus will be top notch.

Ephesus Tour with Erman Uslu - Our tour guide, Erman Uslu, is a professional tour guide, who was really helpful, informativ, and kind. He spoke clearly and use words, which were easy to understand. He gave us also time, not just to hear his explanation, but also to took some pictures. Highly recommended!

Fantastic day tour that ticked every box - The trip to Ephesus was amazing and an absolute must visit in Turkey.
Erman was a fantastic tour guide with so much knowledge about the history of Ephesus and surroundings. The tour was so engaging, professional, safe and enjoyable.
Private bus pickup and drop off from Izmir, as well as lunch at Ephesus made the tour comfortable and perfect for relaxing after exploring the archaeological site.

Awesome tour and guide - The tour was beyond expectations, we heard that it would be important to get a good guide to visit Ephesus, cause there is so much history and details to show, and we are glad we meet our guide Erman Uslu, he was very knowledgeable and helpful the entire time.
