Gigantia and Vuctoria - The trip to Gigantia is well worth a visit. I would have liked the trip to spend more time at Gigantia and less time in the Capital Victoria as by then we were truly tired out with all the coach changes and the ferry.
More time could be spent at a beautiful little inlet where we had lunch.
The train ride is also well worth the effort and great coastal views were had of the ancient salt pits on the beach.

Bad experience - For the hop-on hop-off bus part no bp, however for the transit from Sliema to Cirkewwa, 20 min late in the morning and he did not pick us up in the evening at 6pm, while we were there 1/4 before. We were very few in the morning but they don't even know who they're bringing. Take the city bus, cheaper and safer. To avoid.

Rushed, spent more time in a church then at Ggantija which was the core of this tour - To start with, we spent 2 hours picking everyone around Malta and then waiting for the tour guide who spoke broken English. The most important part of the tour for us was to see Ggantija temple and we were given 10 minutes to go inside. In comparison with the next stop, which was Basilica, we were given 30 minutes to spend there. I am not even catholic which did not make sense. The most important part of the tour felt extremely rushed, did not have enough time to truly appreciate it as this is something I came to see in Malta and been waiting for a long time. Extremely disappointing. Would not recommend buying this tour to someone who wants to enjoy admiring the world’s miracle.

DISCOVERING GOZO - DISCOVERING GOZO TOUR - MAY 2, 2025 - A TOTAL TEASE WITH THE LACK OF PASSION FOR WORK AND THE LAND IT DESERVES SO MUCH!
Me and my boyfriend, during the trip to Malta, to discover its rich history and its landscapes... we wanted to take a guided tour to discover much more than just a visit without a tour guide to Gozo.
We booked the guided tour through Hello Malta tour operator inside the hotel where we stayed in St. Julian's; she explained the tour in detail and we completely trusted her, paying immediately €140.00 in 2.
On the day of the tour, we arrived before the scheduled time of the meeting which would have been at 8:15; here again a kind guy of Spanish origin, employed by the appointed tour operator, proved to be very professional and considerate (he asked to see the tickets of all those present and would have directed us to the assigned vehicle).
After 45 minutes of delay because of them, the guy made us get on a bus, without telling us anything else... 10 people about unlucky for the tour, we trusted them again hoping to find a tour guide before boarding as the delay had been caused by them... so it was not, so we boarded the ferry, without any of the crew asking us anything (by now we were left to ourselves).
Arrived in Gozo by ferry, we did not find anyone waiting for us (literally abandoned) "luckily" there is an information box of the tour operator in question in which we explain the situation to the girl in charge who mobilizes and makes us run in the middle of the bus parking lot, looking for a tour guide attached to the bus, from here the situation worsens even more:
We were entrusted to a gentleman """tour guide"" A..o,
distorted the whole program they told us at the hotel (rather than stopping for an hour in the wonderful capital: Victoria) organized stage by stage in this way:
A few minutes after leaving the port we stopped at a lookout where you could see the sea from above to take souvenir photos (about 10 minutes).
2nd stage: the Gigantia temples that date back to 3600 BC.
here the visit lasts 40 minutes, very superficial, fast, devoid of essential contents and always apparently improvised.
3rd stop: 20 minutes in an unknown country, after Victoria, in front of a souvenir shop and devoid of tourist attractions, trattorias / restaurants to eat.
Stage 4: 30 minutes to Dwejra, a secluded, fossil-rich, rocky seaside resort; there is also a small church in honour of St. Anne but the guide has limited himself exclusively to offering a mini fishing boat cruise for € 10.00 (the time to get off the bus and then get back on, imagine how much time remains).
Stage 5: 30 minutes to ta'pinu where the explanation of the guide takes place on the way (in English one version and in Italian another but both versions, compared with the texts found on the internet, were not reliable) even this place deserves a worthy tour guide; instead it left us free with fixed minutes.
Stage 6: Victoria (journey from ta'pinu to Victoria by tourist train) 30 minutes also in the capital!!! It was a race against time, left in the wild as the tour guide remained at the meeting place: see in a few minutes the cathedral with its museum (fee to be paid at the entrance: €5.00) followed by a quick tour through the streets of the ancient city without knowing their history.
We all respected the allotted times but another surprise: the tour guide made us walk for a few meters and then stand still in a bus parking lot, for at least 30 minutes, waiting for the bus assigned to us to arrive to take us back to the port... here tempers overheated to the point of telling the guide the disappointment but the impassive tour guide replied that he must respect the schedules!
On the return trip he requested all the tickets .. not to contest them?!
throughout the tour, no lunch breaks.
This is the 100...° negative review but I'm afraid they do often. so..TURN TO OTHER TOUR OPERATORS

Experience to forget - EXPERIENCE TO FORGET
Visit to Gozo on 2 -5 - 2025
Me and my partner.
Bus for pickup delayed by 45 minutes.
[ the delay also affected the other participants about 40 people ].
Leave yourself at the ferry embarkation to Gozo without guide or references. Arrived in Gozo and found buses with the guide thanks to another guide present on the island.
Visit to the temples without a real historical description lasting 30 minutes.
Surface and listless driving.
Visit to the cave of 30 minutes made in a hurry as well as the visit to the shrine of ta pinu , left to wander the church for 30 minutes then another 30 minutes always left alone to the city of Rabat without even having the material time to visit the cathedral and the citadel.
No chance to refresh and return in the late afternoon with final surprise : request from the guide and driver of the receipt . (if this is not bad faith).
I invite other participants to write their review.

Terrible - Stay away! Total waste of money. Everything was terrible. We had an amazing walking tour with Coulors tour the day before and thought this would be good, considering 3times more expensive fee! The Russian/English speaking guid had no real information about anything! They only care about stopping at craft shops and making you buy over priced merchandise. Bus was 20 minutes late at start and the late on every pick up. There is a 10 minute boat ride for which you have to pay cash or you wouldn’t go! Lunch was aweful also out of pocket. You can do all for $20 The tour ended at 730 instead of 530.

Nothing Supreme about it! - Don't do that! Unless you like to spend 4/5 of the time on a bus, with a guide who barely speaks English and is chaotically organized.
Their main act, by the way, is to drop your sub-half hour at a super tourist shop, to get you to buy the local products and tourist gadgets....

Never again... - 25 minutes late for pickup. Chaotic Guide who didn't know what to do. Very poorly understood English explanation (Guide was Hungarian and in experience not long in Malta...). Guide was also constantly busy with some Hungarian compatriots so that the other passengers received little service.... Organization (as far as you can call it...) very amateurish.
Save your money and spend it on an Uber that drops you off in person. Get a local guide. It might cost a little more but it will also save you a lot of frustration...

Gozo and Gigante full day tour- avoid - I would not recommend this tour. It was very chaotic. On arrival at the ferry crossing our guide left the bus and went into the terminal and those coming last off the bus did not know where she had gone. Other salesmen outside the terminal then tried to get us on other ferries. At each stop this was repeated with the guide striding away and people struggling to keep up and guessing where she had gone. The whole tour was chaotic with passengers asking each other what way to go.
At gigante ( one of the main parts of the tour ) we had 10 minutes to explore before being put back on the bus and 30 mins at tiny craft store and 30 mins at what an only be described as a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. We eventually left one town with a family missing. Please avoid this tour
