The public entrance to the Vatican Museums is notorious for its lengthy lines, which can be quite frustrating, especially when time is of the essence. Fortunately, there is a solution! Fast track tickets allow visitors to bypass the general admissions line, enabling quicker entry. This priority access ticket maximizes time inside by eliminating unnecessary waiting outside.
Once booked, everything is organized. Simply arrive at the office at the designated time, and a ticket will be provided to skip the line and enter the Vatican Museums.

- Knees & Shoulders MUST be covered for both men & women
- All visitors must pass through the monument/attraction security check please allow at least 20 minutes to clear security.
- Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
- Students booking a reduced ticket must have a photo ID, you must bring a photo ID to be allowed into the monument.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- If you purchase a reduced ticket and you are not under 16 years old or a student under 26 years old with a valid student ID, the Vatican will deny your entry and you will not be able to visit the Vatican or join the tour.
- Due to the Jubilee, some monuments or areas may be under restoration and subject to last minute closures. Please pay attention to any messages we may send regarding potential changes.

Excellent service and value - This really was a complete "skip the line"! The Maya Tours rep was really helpful and very well organised. Well worth the extra cost especially as this year the queues for the Vatican Museums are huge.

kiwi’s in Rome - Our tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel yesterday was something that will remain with us for the rest of our lives. Coming from little old New Zealand we are more comfortable moving within mobs of sheep than the heaving masses of humans! Christina was our guide and like the mother ship, steered us through the multitudes, making our tour seamless. She had an inclusive way of addressing us all and imparted her extensive knowledge and passion of what we’re seeing in a real and meaningful way. Her relaxed but professional energy allowed us to absorb us much as we could within the time frame of the tour. We loved her style and humour.
Thank you Christina. You made our ‘Roman Holiday’ truly memorable.

Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica - Ask all the questions ahead of time so you are not lost. This company is good however your ticket does not have explanations on where to go. And if you do not have your password you cannot access online. However overall it was a good excursion with an excellent guide.

A very pleasant time with our guide - We had the chance to visit the Vatican on 9/08/24 in the afternoon with Marc, an exceptional guide who did an outstanding job.
He has prepared a very well-designed booklet to help us understand the paintings of the Sistine Chapel, and shared with us his vast knowledge of Vatican history and much more. Always listening to our questions, he took the time to answer them with precision and passion.
A true well of knowledge, Marc is animated by a deep love of history that he transmits with enthusiasm. For three hours, he never stopped telling us anecdotes, details and historical facts, making every moment captivating.
Beyond his guiding skills, he is also a pleasant and warm person, who we imagine just as rewarding to be around outside a visit.
We highly recommend Marc for his communicative passion, erudition and good humor. Thanks to him, this visit will remain an unforgettable memory.

Skip The Line to the Sistine Chapel! - Skipping the line is the only way to go. Going through the museum and arriving at the Sistine Chapel takes a lot of energy. Rome is hot right now and if you start by standing in the lines you will be exhausted by the time you arrive.
The Sistine chapel is a must see for everyone who ever has the opportunity to go…make the day the best by starting right…and that is by skipping the lines! The only bummer is you cannot take pictures in the chapel like you once could.

Fabulous tour with Christina and May Tours! - We did the tour with Christina who was the absolute best. She is American and has lived in Italy for 20 years. Studied History in Rome. So knowledgeable and experienced. She has a great sense of humor and knows the Sistine chapel and the Vatican Museum like the back of her hand. Speaks perfect Italian too. She took her time to explain pretty much everything about the tour before we actually went on it inside the lower level in a quiet cool area. We felt like we got so much knowledge before we even saw anything in either spot. Kept our group together and was able to explain so many of the little quirks of the Vatican museum and Sistine chapel. The history is so amazing. We 1,000% will use Christina and Maya Tours again when we return!!!
