Highlight of our week! - Besides the food being delicious, the place was very special. At someone’s home on a little ranch with memorabilia that speaks volumes about their kindness and uniqueness. They really made us feel at home and showed us real and authentic love for food. We almost missed our flight because we didn’t want to leave. We will be back!

So much fun and delicious! - We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class with Antoinette. It was a small group of 9 altogether and we had a nice rapport. We were surprised how long it takes to knead dough to the right consistency but what fun. We also made a delicious bruschetta. We watched her demonstrate and listened to her friends translate. Her hospitality was wonderful with a mid-class snack and a sit down meal, much of our own making, with wine and a take home treat. It took place in a delightfully decorated cottage behind her home outside the walls of Lucca rather than in a restaurant as originally stated. Would highly recommend.

Memorable Cooking Class in Lucca! - Antonietta and her lovely translator made our group-of-two cooking class a memorable experience. The food was out of this world, and so fresh with many of the ingredients directly from the garden! The drinks added to the fun. The relaxing chat during the meal made us feel right at home. And the pasta cooking tips were invaluable. Thanks for a great lunch! A cooking class with Antonietta and her Lucca team is most highly recommended!

Wonderful Cooking Class with Antoinetta - Five of us joined two others at Antoinetta's home. We were greeted with coffee and felt immediately welcomed. We cooked, ate, drank, laughed and had a wonderful unique Italian afternoon with our host, the chef, her translator and assistant. It was truly the hightlight of our trip to be part of this fun and unique experience.

Tons of Fun - Spent the day in Lucca. Had signed up for a private cooking class for nine of us with Chef Cristian. OMG…cannot say enough good things about this experience! We had to re-schedule our class at the last minute because we had car trouble and they were very accommodating! Arrived at the restaurant the next morning and they had a room set-up in the back for us, near the kitchen. Cristian and Andrea were our instructors…we made a “torta di pesche” (peach cake); biscotti and several different pastas. The class was 3 hours and afterwards we ate the fruits of our labors. They served the pasta family style and we got to try three different sauces: pesto, ragu and tomato...all were amazing! The staff is fabulous as well. Highly recommend the class, especially if you like to cook. They answered questions, gave “secret” tips on how to do things and really gave us a feel for the local cuisine. Bon Appetito.
