I will be happy to show you all the process in the factory and and then we will come back to the shop and you will make a piece by your hands!

Amazing authentic pottery facility - Amazing attention to detail and care for our guests that went there for a private tour and lesson. Owners and their staff show you how to create a piece you get to design yourself. They ship worldwide and produce pottery for brand names in the US for example. Bringing shopping at the source to a new level.

Best Ceramic Experience - The masterclass ceramic with Matteo is an awesome experience and so much better than expected. Not only do you get to make your own bowl under the skillfull guidance of Matteos father, he also takes you to the family owned factory for an extremely interesting tour. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience! - We had an excellent experience! It was way above our expectations. We arrived late due to traffic, however, Matteo was warm and made sure we had the full experience. He went above and beyond driving us over in his own car to the pottery factory and gave us a full tour. Then took us back to the store and his father helped us make our own bowls. Matteo and his family were very accommodating. We truly appreciate this experience and highly recommend it.

Handmade Tuscan Ceramics Masterclass in Montelupo - If you are going to be in Florence, do NOT miss the opportunity to do this experience!!!!! Originally it was just going to be myself, my daughter, and mother in law - but the men decided they wanted to joins us - and this ended up being a FAVORITE FOR ALL OF US. Matteo and his family are so incredibly kind. The factory tour and getting to see how every person does their job was so interesting. The pottery itself is beautiful. I loved getting to pick out some pieces and customizing them - we are really look forward to getting them. Matteo's enthusiasm was so charming, he made everyone not just feel welcome, but feel like you were valued guests. His dad (I am completely forgetting his name) was a jewel and we thoroughly loved getting to make a piece of pottery with him. This was such an interesting experience and wonderful memories were made. The town of Montelupo is also so pretty and a quick and easy train ride from Florence. Seriously, give yourself the gift of this fun experience if you're going to be in Florence.

Amazing experience highly recommend - This trip is an absolutely fantastic experience! Matteo was an excellent host so happy to show you everything. He shows you from the clay to the showroom. A MUST do! Matteo offers a priceless experience! - Words cannot describe how wonderful the pottery experience is at La Galleria Nuove Forme d'Arte. Matteo is so enthusiastic and excited to provide personalized experiences with small groups or even just 1, as I was. The tour of the warehouse is unbelievable! It is incomprehensible that the entire warehouse was hand thrown and hand painted by the very few staff it houses. I've been on pins and needles waiting for the pottery. The artists hand painted it. They, then shipped it to arrive here in North Carolina all the way from Tuscany! I absolutely LOVE that Matteo added a personal touch to my bowls. He even mentioned adding a personalized line of products that I could offer at my venue.

Personalized Tour, Custom Order, and Incredible Hosts - Such a great and personalized experience! We asked tons of questions and got a tour tailored to us. It is also flexible, so if you want to spend more time seeing the process in the factory or more time designing your own custom piece or learning how to make pottery the way they do in Montelupo, you can. They even treated us to a coffee break. We are looking forward to seeing our custom handmade pieces! I highly recommend this experience.

Absolute Must Do! - This experience was one of the best things we did in all of Italy. Matteo and his family are so welcoming and friendly, they treat you like family upon first introduction. The tour of the factory is informative and incredibly interesting, with their production being so large with so few people hand making everything. As part of the experience, Matteo shows you their show room of pieces and you can pick some out to order for yourself, which of course we did. The pieces are beautiful, and we are so excited to receive them. The experience concludes with an intimate class with Matteo’s father, Salvatore, who’s been making pottery for almost 50 years. Such a great experience, and we recommend it 100%. Next time we are in Tuscany, we will be returning to Montelupo to visit and order more from their store. An extra bit is that Montelupo is such a beautiful little town where everyone knows everyone and is so welcoming and friendly. It is incredibly easy to get to by train from anywhere in Tuscany, and the meeting spot is only a 5 minute walk from the station. Recommend visiting!

Exceeded expectations - Matteo and his family could not have been more welcoming and open throughout the whole experience. They were very accommodating when we had a schedule mishap. The factory tour was so interesting and all the people working there were proud of their craft. Alberto even taught us how to make one of the designs. Then back at the studio we got to each make a bowl to be shipped home with other personalized pieces we picked out! 10/10 would recommend for anyone that wants a fun, interactive experience!
