InCantina - The tradition of viticulture in Emilia Romagna dates back centuries, but it was the interaction with a distant civilization that forever altered its history…
In a historic tavern located in the old Jewish ghetto, participants will engage in a wine tasting workshop featuring four of the region’s premier wines, paired with a selection of local delicacies such as Bologna mortadella and Parma ham.
A Bolognese oenologist will demonstrate how the native grape varieties are influenced by different terroirs and winemaking techniques, sharing a narrative rich in history. Giancarlo will also introduce the fundamentals of sensory analysis, enabling participants to evaluate the wines based on their organoleptic properties.
Finally, take part in a fun challenge to identify the grape variety in the mysterious glass, with a dinner at InCantina as the prize for the winner!
InCantina collaborates closely with the Enoteca Regionale dell’Emilia Romagna, both aiming to showcase the remarkable culinary treasures their land produces.
After the event, participants have the opportunity to purchase My Saves wines.

The Taste of Emilia-Romagna - Wonderful experience in the heart of Bologna! The wines, which were excellent, were brilliantly presented in terms of both history and organoleptic qualities. An experience to repeat!

A nice experience - With some friends who are curious and passionate about wines and visiting Italian wineries, we decided to deepen our knowledge of the wines of our Emilia-Romagna territory by joining the proposal of In Cantina, a fascinating wine shop on Via del Carro in the heart of Bologna's characteristic Jewish ghetto.
We were able to taste a truly remarkable and unexpected selection of our regional wines under the very pleasant guidance of Giancarlo, a young winemaker with great experience gained around the world who accompanied us with the right dose of technical competence and historical narrative. All of this, of course, accompanied by a variety of typical products, high-quality cured meats and cheeses. A well-designed experience formula to try!
