Additional Information

Embark on an all-day excursion to Lechkhumi, a region in the northern part of western Georgia renowned for its awe-inspiring landscapes, cascades, alpine pastures, ancient cultural heritage, and premium wines. The tour includes a visit to Rachkha’s remarkable waterfall, which sends a powerful torrent of water gushing from the lofty heights. The journey continues to the Usakhelouri micro-zone, where the most expensive and naturally semi-sweet Georgian wine, Usakhelouri, is made. We’ll take in the scenic beauty of Kulbaki’s verdant lake, an ideal spot for enjoying the dense forest and savoring the tastiest trout. We’ll visit Tsageri, the region’s administrative center, home to the Maxime the Confessor’s church and burial site, Tsageri’s Green Theatre, and the historic village of Lailashi. Lailashi is recognized for its Jewish synagogue, Lailashi Bible, and Okronishi swimming pool with therapeutic properties, often referred to as ‘Georgian Thailand’ due to its majestic mountain views. This tour is suited for those keen on mountains, waterfalls, deciduous woods, lakes, and distinct native wines. Total travel distance is 635 km (395 miles).
