Highlights
  • Corinth Canal - The Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island. The canal was dug through the isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base, making it impassable for many modern ships.
From high up, you can enjoy the best view of Corinth’s isthmus and admire the steep limestone walls while you observe the vessels below you navigate their way through the canal.

best trip ever - We had a wonderful experience and we look forward to repeating it as soon as possible. The team was amazing, they took care of everything. A holiday could only be this good. We had a dreamlike day. They fell short of the required punctuality in the organization.

A must do tour for sports enthusiast's. - We had an amazing day. Vasilis our driver/local guide was awesome. His local knowledge was first class and was able to answer all of our questions. He guided us on where to go in Olympia and also helped us chose a lovely restaurant after we had finished. The Olympia site was magical, thinking about where the Olympic movement started and where the torch relay begins every four years. We didn't feel rushed at any time and we would highly recommend this tour.

So knowledgeable and fun! - Our guide Aris was awesome! We had a conversation the whole (long) drive to Olympia and he knew so many fun facts and answered all of our questions. He always opened our doors, checked on us, offered water and even offered an umbrella when it was supposed to rain. Highly recommend! The tour itself was interesting. There were multiple museums and lots of things to roam and explore at our own pace. Download the app for an explanation of the things you are looking at

Great Day Tour for History/Olympic Enthusiasts - Great day tour to view the ancient Olympia. Our driver George was on-time, knowledgeable, and very courteous. I had left my prescription sunglasses in the car after the tour and he immediately turned around and brought them to me. The drive out to Olympia included a stop by the Corinth canal and then a drive through the scenic mountains. The ruins were more vast than we expected, it was a very big complex. The state of the ruins leaves it hard to picture what it looked like, however, we had received a tip before we left that there is a place in Olympia across from the church which rents 3D goggles. George was happy to bring us there to pick them up and drop off afterwards. They really help to bring to tour to life. Lunch was at a restaurant just outside of the museum at the end of the tour and was very tasty after a long drive and 2.5-3 hour tour of the site, the drive back was along the northern coast which was beautiful even though there was some smoke from the fires.

Fantastic Day - Fantastic day going to Olympia. Spyros, our guide, was great. Very welcoming and took great care of our group. We visited the Olympic Museum at the top of the hill as well as the ruins themselves, but unfortunately ran out of time for the second Archaeological Museum. We were reading all of the information so if that is something you also like to do, then be wary of the time allocation. We were there for 3 hours. A very good day, would highly recommend for ancient history lovers.

Very scenic - Long trip but very scenic. Tour guide was very accommodating. Research the museum locations and if they are open as there’s not much assistance in that regard.
