It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island. The canal was dug through the isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base, making it impassable for many modern ships.
From high up, you can enjoy the best view of Corinth’s isthmus and admire the steep limestone walls while you observe the vessels below you navigate their way through the canal.

10/10 tour - Costa was extremely knowledgeable and equally passionate about sharing his knowledge with us. As it was a private tour, there was never any time rush and Costa let us take us our time at each site. Would highly recommend booking this tour!

Great excursion. Highly recommend - The whole experience was awesome. Seeing the ruins in Mycenea was absolutely incredible. The city of Nafplio is gorgeous. Our tour guide, Fortis, was very knowledgeable and extremely nice to spend the day with. He timed everything perfectly as well.

Amazing full day trip to the Peloponnese. - Spiros, our fantastic guide, took us on a spectacular full day trip to Corinth, Mycenaes, Napoli and Epidaurus. He was an amazing driver and guide. The restaurant he recommended in Napflio was full of locals with incredible food. This was our third trip with MyAthensTransfers, and our only regret was that we couldn’t do more with them. A+

Amazing tour!!! - I cannot recommend this tour company enough! Kosta was our tour guide and he was probably the best tour guide we have ever had. He was organized and so knowledgeable about the history of our sites and started by giving us a detailed background of the Greek myths and gods with visual materials. The drives went by fast. He was funny and very enjoyable to speak with. Highly recommend!!!!

Unforgettable Experience in the Peloponnese - Riding with Costa was like driving with a good friend with shared interests who knew way more than we did about the specific parts of history we wanted to learn more about. We absolutely loved his candidness, enthusiasm, and his ability to tailor the entire day to our needs. We knew it was going to be a long day with many hours of driving, but having a fun and energetic private driver allowed us to see all of the highlights in good time.
Costa answered all of our questions and then some! He provided great recommendations at every stop we visited, gave context for everything we were seeing, offered to take photos, and was very quick and attentive during pick-ups and drop-offs. We would not have changed anything, and only have positive feedback for My Athens Transfers.
We saw some other cars from this company on the route, and the transport for larger groups looked very spacious and comfortable. A sedan for the two of us was perfect. All of the caring touches like rest stops, bottles of water, and friendly advice pushes this company beyond others and makes it truly deserving of its 5 Star rating. Whatever day you have planned or in mind, they will make it happen and give you an unforgettable experience.

Outstanding Full day Tour - We had an extraordinary experience. Our driver/guide Michael did a terrific job answering questions and sharing his vast knowledge of the many sites we visited. This tour is a great way to visit many ancient attractions as well as visit the lovely seaside city of Nafplio for lunch.

A full day of adventures... - A full day of adventures and sightseeing. Every place more beautiful than the next! A must do if your have an interest in history and Greece beyond Athens. We had Fotis as our guide who could not have been more gracious and filled with knowledge as to the history of Greece and it's people. From the minute we met him, he could not have been more polite or accommodating in an effort to make our day the best it could possibly be. In short, he was wonderful!

Disappointing and very expensive for what is actually provided - The Driver Nick was pleasant, a good driver and on time. The car was clean and fresh. However, the amount of information provided about the sites was truly minimal. (and Yes, we understood he wasn't a licensed guide)
Biggest issue is the tour description - you visit FOUR sites. The actual number of antiquities to see is based on counting multiple parts of the same site as separate items (Eg the lions gate as part of the overall city). It should be much clearer what you are paying for --- MUCH.
Plus, at multiple sites the access was another 20EU per person - yes, this site says entries not included, but just be aware how expensive that becomes
