Istanbul - Transfer from the airport to your hotel, followed by an overnight stay.

Istanbul Old City Tour

Istanbul - Begin the tour at the Byzantine Hippodrome, historically used for public events organized by emperors.

Blue Mosque - Officially known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, it is renowned for its handmade blue ceramic tiles that adorn the interior.

Hagia Sophia Mosque - The Church of Holy Wisdom is a significant site in the history of art and architecture. Once the largest orthodox church globally, it is now a museum/mosque and one of Turkey’s most visited attractions.

Topkapi Palace - This former imperial residence of Ottoman Sultans is among the world’s largest palaces and a prime example of Ottoman art and architecture.

Grand Bazaar - Conclude the tour with a visit to the oldest and largest covered marketplace in the world, featuring over 4,000 shops. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Istanbul Tour

Bosphorus Strait - Enjoy a 2-hour boat trip on the Bosphorus, viewing Istanbul’s bridges, Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi Palaces, Anadolu and Rumeli fortresses, and beautiful houses along the strait.

Misir Carsisi (Spice Market) - This covered market area, a 17th-century structure, was central to the city’s spice trade. After the tour, transfer to the airport for a flight to Izmir; upon arrival, transfer to a hotel in Kusadasi for an overnight stay.

Troy - Alexander Troas - Assos

Troy (Truva) - After breakfast, take a short drive to visit Homer’s legendary Troy and see the replica of the wooden horse.

Assos - The final stop on this tour is Assos; during his third missionary journey, Paul walked from Alexandria Troas to Assos (Acts 20:5-6,13-14) to meet his companions, who traveled by sea.

Pergamon - Akhisar (Thyatira) - Izmir (Smyrna)

Pergamon Ancient City - Depart from Assos for a 3-hour drive to Pergamon, where you will explore the Acropolis, Temple of Athena, Serapis Temple, Heroon, Sanctuary of Athena, Library of Pergamon, Temple of Trajan, Theatre, Zeus Altar, and Red Court. Pergamon is the third of the ‘Seven Churches of Asia’ (Rev.1:11), known as the site of Satan’s throne (Rev. 2:13).

Akhisar - The second stop is Thyatira, one of the Seven Churches (Revelation 1:11; 2:18-28). Lydia, the seller of purple dyes in Philippi, hailed from this city (Acts 16:14).

Izmir - Proceed to Smyrna (Izmir), Turkey’s third-largest city. It was the second city to receive a letter from the Apostle John in the book of Revelation (Acts 19:10). The letter in Revelation (2:8-11) expresses affection and joy from overcoming hardship and persecution.

Sardis - Philadelphia (Alasehir) - Hierapolis (Pamukkale)

Sardis (Sardes) - After breakfast, drive to Sardis, one of the seven Asiatic Churches (Revelation 3:1-6). Sardis was the capital of ancient Lydia. Visit the early church remains, including the Sardis Gymnasium, Jewish Synagogue, and Diana Temple.

Pamukkale - Known for its mineral-rich thermal waters cascading down white travertine terraces, Pamukkale neighbors Hierapolis, an ancient Roman spa city founded around 190 B.C. Explore the well-preserved theater, necropolis with sarcophagi, the Gate of Domitian, the Arcadian Way, Necropolis, and Apostle Philip’s tomb.

Laodicea - Colossae

Laodicea - After breakfast, take a short drive to Laodicea (Lukewarm Church). The final letter to the churches of ancient Asia Minor was addressed to the church in Laodicea. Visit the Christian ruins, Statue of Emperor Augustus, Aqueduct, Stadium, and Ephesian Gate.

Ephesus Tour

Ephesus Museum - After breakfast, drive to Ephesus; St. Paul visited Ephesus briefly during his second missionary journey and stayed for over three years. Both Paul and Apostle John wrote letters to the Ephesians. Visit the Baths of Scholastica, Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, the Theater, and the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - Visit the house believed to be where Mary (mother of Jesus) spent her last years.

The Basilica of Saint John - Constructed by Justinian I in the 6th century, the Basilica of St. John in Ephesus stands over the believed burial site of John the Apostle. It was modeled after the now-lost Church of the Holy Apostles in Constantinople. After the tour, transfer to Izmir airport for a flight to Cappadocia.

North Cappadocia Tour

Goreme Panorama - Esentepe Panoramic viewpoint offers a stunning landscape view over the town of Goreme in Cappadocia.

Goreme Open-Air Museum - A rocky settlement area that hosted a monastic life from the 4th to 13th centuries A.D., the Goreme Open Air Museum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985 and a popular attraction in Cappadocia.

Pasabag - Monks Valley (Paşabağ Vadisi) in Cappadocia is renowned for its perfect fairy chimneys, sculpted from ancient lava, ash, and basalt. Known as Pasabag, Monks Valley offers hiking opportunities among the boulders and hills.

Avanos - The ancient city of Avanos, formerly known as Venessa, overlooks Turkey’s longest river, the Kızılırmak, which separates Avanos from the rest of Cappadocia. Avanos is famous for its earthenware pottery production, a significant economic activity. Visit one of the pottery workshops in the area.

Cappadocia Cave Dwellings - Devrent Valley in Cappadocia, also known as Imaginary Valley, is filled with unique rock formations, many resembling animal shapes.

South Cappadocia Tour

Kaymakli Underground City - Beneath Cappadocia’s surface lie stunning underground cities built in ancient times for protection against invaders. The Kaymaklı Underground City is the largest, with eight floors of subterranean defense, though only four are open to the public.

Red Valley - A fascinating area for walking, featuring numerous vineyards and gardens.

Cavusin - The old Greek village of Cavusin in Cappadocia, Turkey, boasts a 5th-century church of Saint John and offers a marvelous view of the Rose and Red Valleys.

Pigeon Valley - Guvercinlik Vadisi (Pigeon Valley) is named for the countless man-made dovecotes carved into the soft volcanic tuff.

Love Valley - A secluded destination with scenic sunset views and unique tower-shaped rock formations. After the tour, transfer to Kayseri airport for a flight back to Istanbul.
