Full Day Istanbul Tour (Breakfast)
Istanbul - At 9:00 a.m., after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to begin your journey in Istanbul, the only city in the world located on two continents. Known as Byzantium, Constantinople, and Istanbul, this city has a history spanning over 2600 years, with nearly 1600 years as the capital of two of the world’s greatest empires, the Byzantine and Ottoman.
Hippodrome - The tour starts at Hippodrome Square, once the site of chariot races and Byzantine riots during the Roman and Byzantine periods.
Hagia Sophia Mosque - A short walk away is the Hagia Sophia, built in 532 AD by Roman Emperor Justinian I.

Mount Nemrut - Depart at 3:30 a.m. for a hike to the summit of Mt. Nemrut, one of the most popular UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites. Witness the sunrise and marvel at the colossal heads and statues of ancient deities, stepping into mythology. Small minibuses will transport you up the mountain. This extraordinary landmark is situated at an elevation of 8000 ft. The mountain top complex consists of two flattened areas with statues, separated by a false peak of crushed rock. Antiochus built the entire complex approximately 2000 years ago as a monument to his divine ancestry.
Arsemia Antik Kenti - Take time to visit the old castle, Arsemeia, and cross the still-functioning Cendere Bridge (Septimius Severus bridge) dating back to the 3rd century, as well as the Tumulus Tomb of Karakus.

The Grand Theater, built in the 3rd century B.C., was later expanded to accommodate 24,000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.
Selcuk - After Ephesus, enjoy lunch in the garden of a local handicrafts center. Here, you can observe traditional carpet weaving techniques and admire splendid displays of beautiful carpets.
Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - After lunch, visit the House of Virgin Mary, located on the Aladag Mountains, 5 miles from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council of 431 in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared it a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited this place and prayed here.
