- Ismayilli - Lahij is an Azerbaijani urban-type village that has beautifully preserved its historical appearance, reminiscent of past centuries. It is a national historical and cultural reserve, safeguarding memories from the XV-XIX centuries. Situated in the Ismailli region of Azerbaijan, on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus, Lahij is part of the renowned tourist route known as “The Great Silk Way.” Historically and currently, Lahij holds the status of a trade and handicraft center. Visitors can discover unique, handmade copper utensils adorned with engraved oriental designs, as well as knitted and wicker items, wooden and leather crafts, souvenir knives, and much more. In the past, Lahij was referred to as “the city of forty crafts,” with each family engaged in a specific craft.

Beautiful village in the mountains - The trip was impressive. The way to Lahij has beautiful view and the weather was nice. The village is worth visiting.
