Great PADI Refresher - I haven’t been diving in 28 years and needed to recertify my PADI qualifications before I’d feel safe on a dive. Sebastian took me and one young fellow through a thorough classroom discussion then, after a short 2-1/2 block walk to the beach, covered all basic safety procedures in about ten feet of clear water right off of the beach. Instructions were extremely thorough and easy to follow. Thanks Sebastian for getting me ready to go on today’s reef dive.

Learn to dive here!! - The absolute best experience I could have hoped for. Pedro was my instructor. It’s clear he enjoys what he does and what he teaches. Learn with him and you will love and appreciate the diving experience and learn to do it safely. Sharon was so helpful for trip planning. Overall, unforgettable 3 days with Aqua Adventures in Isla Mujeres.

Just a bit better! - Did my aow with this dive center, and a few dives with another one. Aqua Adventures were just slightly better on all counts, from guides/instructors to quality of equipment.

AOW PADI course - Really enjoyable Advance Open Water course. Jasón was a great instructor- getting the right balance of teaching and fun. Had some great dives, MUSA is a must as it’s very different from your typical dive sites. All the equipment was first class and the shop was very welcoming and helpful with our questions, plus they had two very cute dogs!

Rescue Diver Course with Reef, Drift, and Shipwreck Dive - During the 1st week of September 2021, I visited Aqua adventures Eco Divers and completed 8 dives. The weather was partly cloudy with sporadic rain or clear, and the ocean water bottom temperature was approximately 83-84°F. The area is located within the Meso-American Barrier Reef system. The time I spent at this dive shop was much better than I expected!!! Sharon was very nice, accommodating, and flexible scheduling my scuba dives and course even before I arrived. Additionally, Paul & Marie (instructors) made sure all the activities that I requested were done. I completed coral reef & drift dives, the RESCUE DIVER COURSE, and explored a shipwreck!!! I saw an abundance of beautiful sealife!!! Also, boat Captains Markos and Jhair were nice. This shop even sent me some really good pictures, afterwards, for the dives I completed. Paul was my English-Speaking Scuba Instructor, and he was proficient in training me in the Rescue Diver Course. I could not have had a better experience. It was a challenging course, but also fun and fulfilling training as a Rescue Diver there!!!

Fun and safe experience - Aqua Adventures was great with communication before I booked my AOW. Once I got there, they were awesome to dive and learn with. I felt safe and had a lot of fun learning new skills. They always made sure I was comfortable and ready for the next step. I would definitely recommend this shop for your dive needs.

Musa and Manchones - What a great experience! The reef in Isla Mujeres is absolutely beautiful and the Musa museum is intriguing! Thank you Marie and Lalo for being such great guides. And Sharon with the amazing photos! Such a great experience. 💖

Adventure open water diver course - Amazing diving on Isla Mujeres, especially with Paul and Sharon! Super friendly and fun to dive with them and their crew, and great teaching for the course! Really recommend Eco Aqua Adventures!!

My favorite dive shop in Isla! Treated like family! - Paul & Sharon could not be more accommodating to all divers — both new and old! I had NEVER been diving before walking into their shop, and with their guidance (and homemade cookies and pineapple) not only was I certified but also came back for advanced certification and now I couldn’t imagine my life without diving. Paul is super patient and made learning easy and non threatening (and oh boy, was I scared!). Within two weeks I was night diving and going to 80+ feet and now I’ve turned into the little mermaid thanks to these two. Their staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. And their equipment is top notch, having dove with other shops in the area, I am always grateful when schedules align and I can be back on the boat with Paul, Lalo and Wilbert! Heading back for another month and will dive with them as much as possible. They literally have changed my life!!

Certified dive course - I'd like to give Pedro a shout out, he is a great instructor. Most issues were beyond his control. On our open water dives, the equipment leaked, they had to change out gauges , not sure what all happened but I ended up with no psi guage or air guage , I was told it would be ok just keep showing me your guage,this was a bar Guage I had no knowledge of . I should have cancelled the dive I know it is my choice, but I wanted to be certified. We made the dive the other students had leaking gauges also. It was very stressful, hard fro me to relax. No one was injured but their equipment needs to be rebuilt. Also I was told I would be certified to 60 feet the deepest dive they do is 25 feet, so never expected decompression stops, or safety stops. I will book another company to teach me. They are nice people, but didn't feel safe at all. Probably a great company to use if you have your own equipment, and just want a shallow water dive.
