Amazing Amazon - Mid 30's couple from London. We spent 3 great days in the Amazon. Maniti's organisation was seamless - from the pickup from hotel to the drop back to the airport. Once away from Iquitos, the Amazon is the star of the show, but our guide Edwin was a close second! Edwin took great care of us, providing rubber boots as well as lots of information on every tour. He encouraged us to do things, despite the heat - we definitely needed the push! Our highlights were swimming in the Amazon at sunset, along with an amazing, peaceful 3 hour paddle down one of the tributaries. The accommodation is as it says; simple but clean and comfortable. The food is great too. Bring LOTS of mosquito spray for the tours, and some soles for tips/drinks etc.

Great tour - Absolutely great tour. Simple rustic cabins for tour members. Bring a small portable fan!!!! We have the most wonderful guide Rodrigo Mesia Coral, who was not only so friendly and knowledgeable but also a renowned bird expert. If possible, ask for him when you are making reservations.

Fun way to explore the Amazon with my family1 - Did the 3 day-Maniti Eco Lodge tour. It was a wonderful experience. Our guide Rene was very knowledgeable and friendly. I traveled in mid June with my family. My kids ages 11, 13 and 15 years old also enjoyed the excursion. The specially the pirahna fishing and visiting monkey island. The guide was very accomodating to our family and would modify to what the kids enjoyed more. Overall I would recommend this company great service and awesome experience!

Wonderful Experience - We spent 3D/2N at the MANITI Lodge. This activity is not for the faint hearted. It is hot and humid and tiring but what else is to be expected in the Amazon jungle. Our guide Rodrigo was amazing, always punctual regarding the activities, knows the jungle well, always willing to answer questions, trying to show you as much as he can and always pleasant while doing so. The food is good but got kind of repetitive. All the activities were amazing including the jungle walks, piranha fishing and swimming in the river. The trip to monkey island and the zoo was nice too. However the visit to the local tribe is a waste of time. 5 mins of a put on fake show and then they start pestering you to buy crap. Overall a wonderful experience thanks to Ridrigo’s efforts and the fact that we had a nice group that became friends very quickly and it added to the overall fun factor.

Highly Recommended - An excellent experience overall that I would highly recommend! This organization is very well-organized and provides a good variety of experiences during your time in the jungle. My photos are from a night walk through the jungle, a visit to a local community, and a visit to a local animal reserve. They also offered us the option of doing an Ayahuasca ceremony which a few of us partook of and they took very good care of us and guided us through that rather intense but positive experience. I highly recommend this tour with this organization.

3 days 2 nights in the Amazon - It was amazing from the begin to the end! The food was delicious. We had a private guy for my brother and I. We did piranha fishing, monkey island, swim and mud bath in the Amazon, visit an authentic village, day and night tour in the Amazon. It felt like living a movie. We did visit as well a village in the Amazon with locals. We had the best experience possible. Our guide was amazing

Best of hosts - Renee, our host and guide did a wonderful job of looking out for us. Just remember that the heat and humidity can take a toll, especially if you are older. Recommend this trip for those under 60 who are in good shape. Food was great, lots of great photo opportunities.

Once in a lifetime - First off, I do want to say that this is not a private tour, but a group tour. Our tour guide Rene was very friendly and knowledgeable, and everyone really enjoyed him. Monkey Island was amazing to see, as were the dolphins. I think we were quoted a more expensive price for the butterfly habitat than is normal when the woman taking the entrance fee was trying to give us change back, but our guide is telling her no.
