Best way to get out and about - A great opportunity to get out of the city and see some of the countryside and landscapes around Ipoh. We managed to fit a lot in and enjoyed the variety of scenery. The car was very comfortable and our driver/guide was very helpful and efficient. It would have been very difficult to see all these places without doing a tour. A very good use of limited time in Ipoh.

An interesting and varied tour with a professional tour company. - We had a fantastic day with Jaie on this tour. He is a true professional, very knowledgeable, organised and friendly. We booked the tour on the basis of previous reviews and we weren’t disappointed. This is a very interesting and varied tour and Jaie brought everything to life. The story around Kellie’s Castle is fascinating! We also loved tasting all the local food Jaie suggested. We also did his Cameron Highlands Tour which was beautiful and enjoyable and recommended as well!

Great Tour to See The Sights in Ipoh - Great sightseeing day in Ipoh. All the stops were worthwhile and picturesque. The tour was well organized and run. We would highly recommend it. Especially loved all the cave temples.

Excellent tour and guide - Ipoh is a lovely and interesting city, but it needs an organised tour to properly appreciate it. We picked this tour based on positive reviews and it did not disappoint. Jai met us at our hotel in a very comfortable vehicle and drove us around all the major points of interest, which included some strenuous walking. At an unhurried pace over a very full day, including a nice lunch stop, he explained everything we were seeing before finally dropping us back at our hotel. Jai was committed to giving us an enjoyable day by understanding what we were looking for and nothing was too much trouble for him. Good value and highly recommended.

Excellent guide - Jim was excellent . He went above and beyond to show a great day in Ipoh! We highly suggest you book with him for the day and have him take you to the local food areas for lunch .

A fanastic experience of all Ipoh has to offer - We experienced a sensational private tour of the greater Ipoh area covering delicious local eats, history, temples, caves, the famous Concubine lane, Ipoh city and of course Kellie's Castle - in a dedicated comfortable vehicle with hotel pick up and drop off. Our guide knew Ipoh inside out and personally guided us at each location stopping to explain interesting facts and observations that we would have otherwise missed. Jaie was was passionate about ensuring we had a fantastic time and worked at our pace. We highly recommend this tour!

Highly Enjoyable and Interesting Tour around Ipoh City - Excellent experience on our Ipoh City day tour and very well looked after by Jim who was very attentive and knowledgeable. All of the attractions on the itinerary were worthwhile and interesting however we particularly enjoyed Kellie’s Castle and the fascinating but sad story behind it and the 2 amazing cave temples that we visited.

Best city tour of Ipoh - Fantastic tour with knowledgeable and flexible guide. We hit all of the Ipoh highlights with perfect timing to skip huge crowds (school holiday week). My guide, Jim, added in several stops for local street food and fresh fruit tasting at request. We also had a great discussion about history, politics, and our two countries peoples. When I asked about repairing a torn seam in a leather bag, we were straight off to a local craftsman who repaired it for me on the spot. Jim was friendly, helpful, gave me many tips and helped me navigate Malay shops and pricing better. We went all over Ipoh, well outside itinerary. Very enjoyable. Well worth it. I'm doing another tour with them! Oh, and they'll do a custom tour for you. Just ask. We've got one to Taiping tomorrow. Snacking street food stops definitely included on my tour. What do you want on yours?

Average - Driver/guide was nice but the tour should be better organized according to travelers’ priorities. We only had one priority which was the Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple, we told the guide twice but he left it for the afternoon. When we finally went it was closing earlier because rain was coming (which he mentioned had been the case in the previous days) so we didn’t get to see it.
