Not Unmissable but a great night - I've read a lot of mixed reviews about this event...but in my opinion it was great. If you want a traditional experience in a lovely setting, then this is a must for your trip! Good food, great atmosphere and the Fantasia show round off the night was fantastic. The food was good, not great, I definitely had better on my trip and yes, the show could have been longer. But I'm putting that down to my visit being during off-peak. Would have been 5 stars if the food was better and the show was longer. Possibly a little overpriced, but as with most of these excursions a single ticket is normally a little bit more. I travelled solo and enjoyed my evening, but as a couple or group it would be even better I think. And I almost forgot, the transfer there from your hotel allows you to enjoy the thrill of driving through rush hour traffic 🤣

Great if you like couscous - Long transfer to get to the location, which is by the airport. Really nice greeting on arrival and it was great to see how they cook the traditional bread whilst you’re waiting to be seated. We were on a table of 6 so it was quite a small group, but every course seemed to have a mountain of cous cous, which was ok for a couple of mouthfuls but after that it seemed very bland. Drinks were ok but a bit expensive for anything alcoholic and there weren’t many options to buy unless you wanted to continuously go to the bar The entertainment after the meal was ok, some horseback riders with muskets and acrobats but it isn’t anything we hadn’t seen in Egypt or similar places.

Disappointing - This event is a 40 minute drive from the hotels in Agadir and finishes late, after midnight. You arrive around 8 pm. The musicians are local and talented, however, the music is very repetitive and very loud. The marquee tents are nicely dressed but very hot. The food is average. There are around 7 courses and it is very long winded. Big gaps in-between. We left half way through and didn't end up staying for the show. I feel there should be more going on inbetween courses for entertainment as the musicians that rotate the tents are very similar. Or it should be a buffet and the show should start earlier.

Daytime show at Fantasia Restaurant - Our visit to the Fantasia Show occurred during a weekday morning. Leaving our cruise ship on an excursion run by a local tour group, we arrived an hour later at the Fantasia Restaurant after a long coach/bus ride on a busy highway. The show takes place outdoors with no overhead protection from the sun for the audience who sit on tiered concrete steps to watch the show. The audience is offered tasty cookies, served on a silver tray, and hot tea before the show begins. The show itself only lasts about 30 minutes. Four horsemen, dressed in traditional military gear, open and close the show by racing their horses across the theater's grassy field and shooting their long military rifles once to demonstrate a ride into a battle. I guess we were expecting more of a horse show where the riders would display their horsemanship with riding stunts. Four young male acrobats followed, showing a nice style with their many body lifts and juggling lit batons which probably would be more showy at night than during the day. The attractive belly dancer, in a skimpy costume, performed next jiggling many body parts for too long. My interest in the show dwindled, and, wondering what act would follow, I was surprised that the show had come to an end when the horsemen again appeared and fired their rifles. IMO, the show was too short and needed more variety in the number of acts. The excursion included a stop at a craft shop called, Kasbah Souss, along the highway back to Agadir and a stop at the fortress atop the hill in Agadir, the Agadir Oufella. Included, of course, was the drive through the city and the surrounding countryside which was as worthwhile as visiting these attractions

Rude Tour Guide, Great Show - The tour guide never communicated his arrival to our hotel, then proceeded to be very rude with us once we boarded the bus. The show was great, and the food was okay, but I would never book with this group again.
