The Call of the Volcano

The allure of Indonesia’s volcanic landscape has always been irresistible to me. As a former extreme sports athlete, I’ve scaled peaks and traversed terrains that most would only dream of. Our journey began in the early hours of the morning, departing from the vibrant city of Yogyakarta. The drive to Selo Village, the basecamp of Merbabu Mountain, was a visual feast.
