Beautiful Views and Relaxing Tour - This bike tour showcases some of the best views of Lake Tahoe in just around 2 hours! We rented the electric bikes which made going uphill a breeze. The route is overall very safe, with wide paths for bikes and pedestrians. We went in the winter, so there was not as many pedestrians on the trail, which was great. I would highly recommend wearing gloves in the winter as it does get quite windy and chilly while biking. We made stops along the way to capture the gorgeous views, which I would recommend, since we did end up enjoying the views along the way more than the views at the final destination, which was Sand Harbor Beach. One thing to note is that Sand Harbor Beach does also require payment upon entering. Overall this bike tour was a fun way to see the gorgeous Lake Tahoe.

RIDING BIKES around Lake Tahoe from INCLINE VILLAGE - Wonderful Time by two generations - We had the time of our lives using e-bikes cycling along the shoreline of Lake Tahoe from Incline Village. The Bike path went on for miles. Thank God we took the e-bike option!! As a healthy senior (70+) I put the e-bike on 1 LED just to help me over the hills and peddle most of the time. My lovely bride put her bike on 3 LEDs just because. The kids put their bikes on 2 LEDS. We used the bikes for 2 hours and it rained for 1.5 hours. What the heck! You only live once so bring a thin jacket and tie it around your waist. We stopped several times along the lake trail to capture the beauty of the trees and water. Biking creates a lot of smiles and laughter for those perfect photo shots. just get out there and be one with Nature! JS

Great Bike Tour on Lake Tahoe - I enjoyed the ebike rental from Vista Bikes in Incline Village. It was my first ebike experience. They provide a helmet and a lock. The bike was very easy to learn. The trail along the lake was a short distance from the bike shop. There was one spot before you get to the trail that the pedal assist on the bike was appreciated. But when you get there, what a magnificent trail. The views were amazing. The trail is in excellent shape. There are many spots where you can lock the bike and descend to the shoreline on foot. Overall, it was a fun 3 hour ride. I will do it again if I ever get back there.

Great experience - Rented a bike for the day - great customer service, and excellent equipment. Easy to rent online, no hassle. They even let us park there (we got there early).

Do it!! - So much better than we even expected. These bikes took some getting used to for me as someone who can ride a bike but haven’t in years. Once I circled the parking lot, we were off! Awesome scenery, the weather was perfect in October. This ends you at the Sand Harbor beach and we got some great pics along the way and at the beach.

Awesome experience! - Will start by saying this was the most beautiful ride I have ever done! The scenery was just amazing, and the path was very safe and away from traffic. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The e-bikes were in great shape, and performed perfectly. Can't say enough good things about this adventure, highly recommend!!

HIghlight of our Tahoe Trip! - We were so glad we rented e-bike cruisers through Vista Trail Bikes on our September Tahoe trip. My husband and sister and I did the East Shore trail and did an all day rental. Vista Trail's customer service was great; they showed us how to use the bikes and gave us a map plus suggestions on where to visit. It was really the most beautiful ride - the reviews don't lie! We stopped off and went swimming in the lake, took a million photos, hiked up to Monkey rock, had lunch at the Tunnel Creek Cafe. Bikes worked perfectly, even though it's only 6 miles, I was glad I rented the e-Bike.

BEWARE: Hidden fee and SPAM - BEWARE: Owner is comfortable taking advantage of overcharging for the bike rental. Sort of like the rip-off "Resort Fee" at hotels, he explained "if everyone else does it so why not" him. Believe it or not the $5 additional hidden fee is to cover the cost of the SPAM that is immediately hitting your inbox and cell phone. He says "They charge us for the service so we pass that cost on to our customers". I requested he remove the $5 charge and he was happy to do it. However, the dishonesty of it lingers. SUGGESTION: give fake email address and cell number. And of course, request that fee be removed. Other than that, the bikes are good quality but costly and the owner was pleasant to talk with. However, I would recommend rental bikes closer to the main trail.
