  Guests will enjoy a guided walking tour in and around the Amchong Tea Estate, providing a brief overview of how tea is cultivated, produced, and tasted. This is followed by a stroll around the tea estate, visiting plantations and nurseries to observe how the renowned Assam Tea is grown and nurtured. Guests can interact with the workers and participate in tea plucking if it is underway. A visit to the tea factory will showcase the various stages of tea processing, including Withering, Rolling, Fermenting, Drying, and Sorting. The day concludes with a tea tasting session, where guests can explore the differences in aroma, flavor, and appearance of tea produced in various ways and at different times of the year. The session also includes tasting teas from other regions of India and the world, along with examples of flavored and blended teas.
