Beautiful day! - Sam was an absolutely outstanding guide! His knowledge of the canyon’s plant and animal life, as well as its history - both physical and human - were the foundation of a very enjoyable tour that he customized in some special ways. He is a fantastic people person. Highly recommended!

Johnston Canyon icewalk - This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide Scott was very professional and had a great knowledge of the area. The supply of snow cleats made our hike a lot safer. The hot chocolate and cookies were just what we needed at the end of our hike. The canyon was breathtaking.

Spectacular views - Sam was a knowledgeable and personable guide. I was probably 20 years older than the next oldest and was glad to be able to keep up. That said, I didn’t think of it as mostly flat and would consider it a bit more “moderate” than “easy.” And if you are able to do it, I highly recommend the experience.
