Embark on an engaging day journey through the Berber region of the Middle Atlas.
You’ll be fetched from your hotel by your guide and transported in an air-conditioned vehicle to the Middle Atlas mountains. Your initial stop will be Imouzzer, a town situated between Fez and Ifrane, renowned for its apple festival held every September. Before reaching Ifrane, immerse yourself in the refreshing breezes, blossomy trails, and French architecture of this quaint little ski village situated (1665 m above sea level). Then delve into Azrou, a raw Berber settlement where the locals uphold their heritage through activities such as flour milling, wood carving, and carpet making. Traverse through the cedar woods, and if you’re lucky, you might spot some Barbary monkeys scampering about the treetops. Your trip will culminate with a late afternoon arrival in Fez, where your guide will take you to dine at a local diner.

a fantastic trip! - You are pretty much guaranteed to see the monkeys multiple times. Our guide, Driss was fantastic and knowledgeable. As a recommendation, when you arrive to the first stop, Ifrane, unless there is snow, you don’t really need more than 20-30 minutes so I would just let your guide know that you would rather spend more time at the other destinations. Overall a fantastic trip!

very interesting - Hassan was an excellent guide. We went many interesting places. He tailored the time at each place based on my wishes. He’s very knowledgeable about the region and shared many interesting facts. It was nice mix of nature and towns. Feeding the monkeys was the highlight. Visiting the cave dwelling was also very interesting.

A good Experience with a Passionate Guide - This tour was too long and too short all at once! This was a long day and we were quite tired at the end. But at the same time we wish we had more time at both locations. Knowing what I know now, I would probably break this up into 2 days or try to go to one site early in the morning and the 2nd later in the day with a longer lunch break in the middle. Badr was clearly passionate about the art and history of both locations and we enjoyed his stories.
while the tour's duration left us feeling both exhausted and wanting more, Badr's passion and knowledge were undeniable. We recommend considering adjustments to the itinerary to allow for a more relaxed pace and ample time at each location. With these modifications, the tour has the potential to be an even more fulfilling and enriching experience

Insightful and Knowledgeable Guide - I had the pleasure of embarking on a private day trip to the Middle Atlas from Fes, and I must say that our guide BADR was truly exceptional. Their deep knowledge and passion for the region's traditions and culture made the experience truly enlightening.
They took us to visit traditional Berber villages, where we had the opportunity to interact with the locals and witness their daily activities.
This day trip was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic and immersive cultural adventure.

Amazing. I highly recommend Badr when you are in Morocco. - Amazing. Morocco was amazing and Badr was a big part in that experience. This man went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I were safe and that we were able to go and do everything that we wanted. He treated us like family.

Excellent Experience - 110% Recommend! - Our experience in Morocco was Excellent, and we could not have done it without Badr. This man is amazing, friendly, funny, and well liked by our children. He is very flexible and on time. We hired Badr to take us to several places to include a 1-day tour to the Middle Atlas with stops along the way for our children to enjoy. It was perfect! At one point we needed a way back to Fez from Marrakech (6 hour drive) since the train tickets were sold out due to an upcoming holiday. Without hesitation, Badr picked us up with a stop in Casablanca. He was our ride or die. He even held on to some of our baggage until we returned to Fez. Our final farewell of Morocco was with Badr as he drove us to the airport. His service was beyond our expectations. I would 110% recommend his service!
