Toubkal - Day 2: Toubkal Refuge – Toubkal Summit and Return to Imlil, then Transfer to Marrakech
The highlight of Toubkal is the sunrise, so it’s best to wake up early to avoid the heat. Enjoy breakfast around 5:00 am and begin the ascent at 5:30 am. Progress steadily until reaching a point above the hut for a brief rest. After 3 to 4 hours of climbing, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains, resembling an aerial perspective, along with stunning vistas of green valleys and Berber villages. A 30-minute break at the summit allows for photos and appreciation of the scenery before descending to the hut, where a varied lunch awaits. After lunch, continue downhill to Imlil, followed by a transfer back to Marrakech.

Imlil - Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal Refuge
After breakfast at the hotel in Marrakech, a driver will pick you up and take you to the heart of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains. The trek begins in Imlil (1740m), a charming Berber village situated 1740 meters above sea level, 67 km southwest of Marrakech. Here, you’ll meet the guide who will accompany you on this incredible journey. The driver will drop you off in Imlil village, where you can rent any necessary equipment. Then, embark on a walk with an experienced mountain guide through Berber villages, following a mule track leading to the mountain hut via the shrine Sidi Chamhrouch (2500m), where a picnic lunch prepared in advance by the cook will be enjoyed. After lunch and a short break, continue towards the refuge (3200m).
