I don’t ever want to visit Greece without George!! - We did two separate excursions with George. Our group had a variety of needs and George met and exceeded them all. We had an experienced diver, a few snorkelers and a few that needed additional assistance and George was knowledgeable and prepared for it all. The boat and equipment were well maintained, he took us to secluded and beautiful locations that fit all of our needs and always had our safety in mind. The second day with George took us to cities that were highly recommended by him and other we spoke to and definitely would not have been on any other tour website. He was funny, engaging and full of information. It is very evident that he not only loves his country but also loves his job. I’m already working on plans to return with my daughter and will absolutely be booking him again.

First time snorkeling with excited girls. - Great experience. Everything was done safely with our small girls. They had a blast. They took us out to a secluded cove that was protected by the waves and had a small beach. They even brought a SUP to play with. Then we went to the temple of Poseidon which had magnificent views. George and skipper George took very good care of us.

Amazing Experience - The private cruise was an amazing experience. In the e-mail exchange before the event George was very helpful and gave me great tips and suggestions. On the day of the cruise, everything ran perfectly. The cruise was well-structured and engaging. George and his skipper took us to different interesting places, were we could swim and snorkel. Throughout the event, the crew was highly customer-oriented. They always made it clear that us having a great experience was their highest priority because they always asked our input for what we want and were available to answer questions and provide assistance. George and his skipper were very professional, easygoing and likable. If you want to take a private cruise that is highly customized to your wishes and liking I would highly recommend the provider “Athens by boat”.

Worth it - I have another review under "Extreme Divers". George, Evan and Amelia were *terrific*. Easy to work with, fast replies to emails, details of the trip are worked out in advance (with great clarity) and fun. George is a terrific guide - full of information and patience. You'll find the organization is honest, reasonably priced and worth your time and money. Please give this event serious consideration - you can't go wrong. NOTE: They adhere to strict COVID safety guidelines. We even got a Rapid Test the morning of the event in accordance with local / state guidelines.

Highlight of our Trip to Athens - My family of 4 (two teenagers) spent the day snorkeling with George and his crew on our way to the Sounio Cape. George was AMAZING and very knowledgeable. He and his crew are completely trustworthy. We were able to tailor our trip to meet our needs and requests. At the end of the day, George dropped us off at a recommended restaurant with the best views of Athens, and the food did not disappoint. By the end of the day, we had made a new friend, and we will definitely book this trip again with George and his family run business when we return to Athens. I highly recommend this tour! Great activity!!! - We took the private tour with a group of 8 friends and it was very well organised. We were picked up at our hotel in the center of Athens. There was a lot of swimming and snorkling during the tour and the two guides took all the time for us. I would definitely recommend to do this trip.

Amazing Day, Loved every minute!!! - My 2 young adult children and I had an amazing day at sea. We had a windy day and I was a little worried if that would interfere with our day, but George took excellent care of us. He knew all the places to visit on a windy day to ensure our safety and comfort. He picked us up at our hotel, had plenty of water and yummy pastries and fruit for us. We ended up driving to Poseidon’s Temple to explore the ruins due to the wind, so we could maximize our snorkeling time. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Greece. He speaks excellent English. George recommended a great local restaurant basically unknown to tourists, and due to them not offering an English menu he came up with us, made recommendations, showed us the freshest best fish to order and helped us order. We had an amazing meal looking over the city of Athens. We would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience - This experience was so worth it. We were a group of 7 and had a great time. George was so friendly and knowledgeable. They truly make the day about what you want. We felt safe the whole time and had a blast. Definitely recommend for people that want a private day on the ocean away from the crowds.

Beautiful day on the water! - We booked this tour on our first full day in Greece, and it was the perfect way to settle into our vacation! George met our group, which included five children ages 4-15, at the hotel. He made it very clear from the start that it was our day, and activities could be tailored to our preferences. The group opted for more swimming and snorkeling time, so we spent the day anchored at various locations doing just that. George was the perfect guide. He was warm and informative, and open to answering questions about our surroundings and about his country. He even got in the water with an underwater camera to shoot pictures and video of the kids, which he emailed to us later. It was easy to see that he loves spending his days on the water! It was also obvious during our time together that safety was George's primary concern, and both he and the skipper were always aware of the wind and (on a few occasions) the distant sound of thunder. After a delicious late afternoon snack of fruit and pastries, we docked the boat and took a scenic drive down the coast to the cape, to visit the temple at sunset. The kids really enjoyed this part of the trip as well. The day was definitely one of our most memorable of the entire trip. It was fun and informative and relaxing, but above all, we really felt that we lived and experienced the best of what Greece has to offer. Would highly recommend!

This was a GREAT cruise!! George... - <p>This was a GREAT cruise!! George was such a fantastic host. He was warm and friendly, prompt and full of information on our drive to the RIB cruise. George brought his little son with him which was fantastic as I was a mom travelling with her 2 sons 19 and 12. The language barrier didn't matter as the kids all played and jumped hundreds of times from the boat. Beautiful stops to swim, snorkel and to have fun. George made it very clear that the boat was ours and we got to call the shots of where to go and when to go. He also brought along a wonderful melon we all shared. After a couple of hours, we were ready to head back and do the Poseidon Temple which we chose to do by car. Beautiful. George also recommended a restaurant and dropped us there for dinner. They had us a wonderful table with fantastic food even though we looked exactly like we were swimming all day and coming off a boat. All in all, the tour, George and everything about this day trip was super special. We as a family enjoy a little privacy and not having to make memories with hordes of tourists. This is exactly what we wanted and how we wanted to spend the day. Some final thoughts, the skipper was professional and safe George's driving was safe. Eat a heavy lunch before as you will only be snacking during the boat tour or bring snacks. Bring a change of clothes as the tour is like 6-7 hours and if you take George up on his recommendation for dinner you won't be sorry!
