Perfect length of tour and cost for the experience! - Enjoyed the history, tour, and panning for GOLD! The tour guide was fantastic with the kids. The mine shaft was cool. The cost to time ratio was economic.

Best Mine Tour in Colorado - Best mine tour I've been on in Colorado. It is a bit on the pricey side for a family but worth it! Rich and comprehensive history, at a beautiful location. It not only highlights the grit of miners and their families but also the harsh realities of the industry and its ecological effects.

Great time in idaho springs - We had so much fun and it was so educational. Our guide Patty answered. All our questions took our pictures and just plain had fun with us. I would recommend this to anybody who wants history of the area and enjoys being surrounded by beauty and history.

Very interesting! - Very interesting tour. A lot of information about the mine, the area and the whole mining industry. If you are in the area this is a must. Our guide was very knowledgeable , the tour take about 60 minutes, you get to see the mill and the mine ( a small portion of an aprox 5 miles tunnel who used to connect all the mines in the area).
