Fantastic tour with a professional and friendly guide. - I read a lot of reviews with mixed feedback. I am glad I booked this particular trip which also has a Tomato farm visit which was the best part of the trip apart from the Glacier Hike which is a must do, and it's not difficult if you can walk for an hour amd climb slowly. Breathtaking views and photo opportunities. Lots of waterfall visits. Above all, Thomas the British guide drives you and guides you so well as he is a professional ice climber as well. Very friendly and accommodating. Just book this company and the trio and you will never regret.

Wonderful choice for a stay in Iceland! - So happy I chose this excursion, it was perfect! This was my fourth trip to Iceland (love visiting) and I wanted to do something different. The visit to the horse stables and the demonstration was great. Loved stroking their manes and noses, they are so friendly and curious. Then a short walk to the greenhouses to see and hear about the tomato cultivation and harvesting (very interesting). And another short walk to a beautiful space where we were served a delicious lunch at a long table with a gorgeous chandelier overhead. I had already visited the crater, Golden Falls and the National Park on a prior visit, but it was still interesting. Our guide Sven was funny, personable and a perfect driver. Vehicle was clean and comfortable. I primarily chose this excursion because it left at a decent hour (9:00AM) and was not an all-day trip (we returned to Reykjavik before 6:00 PM, in time for a leisurely dinner in town). Highly recommend this side trip, you won't be disappointed!

beautiful scenery - The van was comfortable with included wi-fi. We packed a lot of stuff in our 8 hour excursion. I didn't feel rushed and didn't feel like I missed out on anything due to time constrains. Tony was an engaging guide who shared a lot of interesting information. I enjoyed the commentary and learning about the history and present of Iceland.

Upgrading to the Golden Circle premium tour so worth it - We took the Golden Circle premium tour on Friday with Hallur as our guide. It was a really enjoyable day, and very eventful! Hallur was extremely knowledgeable about the local area, the history and the geology. The added extra, the difference between the golden circle tour and the premium, was so worth the upgrade. We got to meet some beautiful Icelandic horses and then enjoy lunch at the tomato farm. The tomato soup was the best we've ever had! Just want to say thanks again to Hallur for a brilliant day, and for keeping us safe in an absolute monster of a snow blizzard on the way home! Highly recommend this experience.

Small bus was BIG on delivering amazing sites - I always look for tours that offer smaller busses since I think the time loading and unloading could otherwise be spent seeing the sites or getting to the next location. It can also mean seeing places that larger busses cannot access or find parking. BusTravel Iceland had the ideal tour for my bestie and me to see The Golden Circle, Friðheimar, and finishing up with Sky Lagoon. Gundran was a spectacular tour guide and moderated with passion about her homeland. We knew exactly where we were going, how much time we could plan on spending, and what was on deck for our next stop. If you are planning on visiting Iceland, and want to tour The Golden Circle, pick this tour! You won't be disappointed.

Best Golden Circle Tour with Tomato Farm and option for Sky Lagoon - We had a wonderful time touring the Golden Circle with our guide Roman (he also goes by Zack). He was super informative the entire time, presenting interesting information and fun facts about Iceland. We visited Kerid crater, met some Icelandic horses and watched a horse show, toured the tomato greenhouse, ate amazing lunch at the tomato greenhouse, visited the geysir called Strokkur, visited Gullfoss (I tried the lamb soup for the first time here), and also had a nice stroll through the Thingvellir national park! Overall, this tour was very worth the price. Our favorite stop was definitely the Tomato greenhouse, particularly the lunch (I love tomatoes, and the tomato soup there was spectacular!!). We also went on a day where there were amazing northern lights forecasted so our guide told us all about the lights and where we can see them. More than half the people on our tour opted to end at Sky Lagoon, so that's an option too if you wanna to do more in the same day! I know many tours out there include golden circle with Secret lagoon or golden circle with blue lagoon, but they skip out on the Tomato greenhouse, which for me, was a must visit!! Blue lagoon is closer to the airport than the golden circle anyways!! So if you really want to visit a hot spring or lagoon on your golden circle tour, definitely book this one with the Sky Lagoon (which is so close to Reykjavik so it's very convenient) Pick-up and drop-off were super easy. Fast wifi on the van was a plus! We had a spectacular time on the Golden Circle - would definitely recommend this small group tour!

Not enough time at main sites - Great tour but far too long wasted at the tomato farm on waiting for A) a ‘horse show’ which turned out to just be one horse and rider galloping around a small paddock at 5 different speeds for about 10 to 15 mins) and B) lunch - most of us just ordered the tomato soup which came up quickly and was nice (although the bread looked nothing like the type we saw being served in the main restaurant as we passed) but the 4 people who ordered the cheese board and bruschetta waited ages - so we all did! This was still within the allotted hour and half there but more time at the other sites would have been so much better instead. That said our tour guide Zac (aka Roman) was very good - funny and with lots of interesting stories to tell. Gulfoss waterfall was amazing too. This site also has the best souvenir shop but we didn’t have enough time here to look). All in all the Golden Circle is the number 1 trip.. Don’t leave Iceland without going but maybe pick another unless you really really like horses.

Amazing Trip - The tour itself was amazing, the bus was comfy and warm and we were given plenty of time to enjoy the sights. Only downside would be at the fridheimar farm we were expected to buy lunch which me and my partner were not wanting to do as we were under the impression this was optional. We had brought food along with us as we both do not like tomatoes and knew the food would not be something we would enjoy but still wanted to visit to see the horses and greenhouse. We were brought to the wine bar and made to sit on a big table with the group of us, personally we found it quite awkward as we didn’t know anyone and would rather sit at separate tables than be forced to all sit together. When we realised we were being expected to purchase lunch we felt forced into it and subsequently had a meal both of us did not enjoy. We would have left but the buses were locked and with no where left to go we didn’t really have any other option. The other guests seemed to enjoy their food however and I think it was reasonably priced providing it was food you actually like. Overall would highly recommend the trip but if you don’t like tomatoes then you may end up paying for a meal you don’t actually want.
