If you’re thinking about it, just do it! - Wow, what an amazing experience I had learning how to sandboard against the magical backdrop of Oasis de Huacachina! Eros was a great instructor - I started the day as a complete beginner, and ended the day confidently gliding down the dunes. Thanks Eros and SandRide Lima!

Sand boarding in Perú 2024 - Eros is an amazing guide! We had THEE BEST TIME!! He is so saucy with the sand boarding, I’m glad he was able to guide me on all the dunes. If it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would of been able to have that much fun. He is an awesome photographer too! We got some dope pictures and videos from our trip.

Family experience of a lifetime - Incredible experience just an hour outside of Lima! Wanted to do the sandboarding but a 16 hour day w teens was not an option. Erros and Javier made the trip and were so patient and made sure we had great training and fantastic equipment. Erros was not only a an amazing instructor but he captured every Instagram worthy moment. Book the afternoon time slot for golden hour pics.

Amazing tour for the adventurous traveler! - Last year, I did the complete Paracas, Ica, and Huacachina tour on AirBnb. Rafael's tour blew me away in comparison! He allowed us to customize the tour with stops along the way, including breakfast and a pisco tasting. We felt more immersed in the culture and less like tourists being shuffled around from one location to the next. We spoke with locals, learned more about sandboarding across the globe, and felt safe and secure throughout the entirety of the trip. Thank you, Rafa, for an incredible trip!

This is the tour guide to use! - The tour and sandboarding in Huacachina was amazing and is absolutely worth the drive out from Lima. The best part of this though, is the owner / guide, Raf. We didn't know if we wanted to take the time to get out to Huacachina from Lima but at the last minute we decided to look for a tour. I messaged him on WhatsApp on his site and within minutes he had a plan for us, the bus route, he picked us up from the bus station in Ica, had the sand buggy ready, our equipment and everything in less than a couple hours. I've never had a tour in any country where the owner helped so much to make the trip happen. There is no way we would have gotten to go sandboarding without his help. He is also very knowledgeable and helpful with the boarding, my girlfriend had never been on a sand or snowboard and he taught her how to ride in less than 30 mins. She was going down the dunes herself pretty quickly. He took a ton of pics with our phones and his insta360 video camera and sent us the files. After we were done the 3 of us went to dinner. It was like going sandboarding with a friend. Can't say enough about his service, it was the best experience of the trip!

Amazing sandbording in Huacachina. - I was highly satisfied with this tour. Perfect organisation, helpful and patient staff, incredible experience. The journey from Lima to Ica was comfortable and with enjoyable music. For the lunch we could try tipical food in a nice local restaurant. The lessons started after taking a buggie to the sand dunes. The professors were attentive and we could try different level of dunes. We had an amazing and unique experience of watching the sunset far away from other tourists.

The highlight of my Lima trip! Do yourself a favor and go sand boarding!! - Absolutely amazing experience start to finish!!! This is a must do for anyone with a sense of adventure or looking to push themselves outside of their comfort zone. The views are amazing, the people you encounter are great, the photo opportunities are second to none, and of course the sand boarding is exhilarating and so much fun. Something I thought would be super hard to pick up on I actually felt comfortable and confident with after a few hours. Rafael and his team are amazing and super accommodating and genuinely want to see you do well and avoid taking a tumble (trust me, I took a few but the sand was forgiving.) All in all this is a must do! From start to finish, from sand boarding to stoping for an amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to walking around the oasis, this is a once in a lifetime memorable experience if you visit Peru.

Sandboard Tour Huacachina - OMG, this tour was such an AMAZING experience!! The Oasis is so beautifull and the dunes are just like you are on a different planet. The sandboarding is awesome and doable for beginners who never did snowboarding. I would for sure book this tour instead of the Lima tour, it is worth it. But do prepare for a long ride.
