- Hussain Sagar Lake - Hussain Sagar Lake is a vast manmade lake at the junction of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Begumpet. This expansive artificial lake, built in 1575 by Sultan Ibrahim Kutb Shah at a cost of approximately Rs. 2.5 lakhs, uniquely connects the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Great Guide - Srinu was very knowledgeable about hyderabadi history. He also has connections with all vendors and allowed us to get a peek into how the food is actually created. He also does a great job recommending other places in the city to check out!

A great tour with a warm professional guide - I spent the day with Srinu Arvapalli, a very professional and nice guide. The tour included historical highlights of Hyderabad, history of the region as well as walking the local markets, drinking exceptional chai, and talking about family and life in general.

Hyderabad, A city from the past - S beautiful historical city with rich seens, buildings, friendly people and nice atmosphere. Our tour guide, Snihu was the best, he was so informative, I have learned a lot from him. Hyderabad City is a must to visit place.

Good tour overall.. the... - Good tour overall.. the positives: our guide was flexible and allowed us to add stops (the tombs) and remove stops in the old city since we saw them the previous day. He is also provided a great overview of the fort and tombs. The not so good.. he insisted on stopping at local shops for shopping despite us telling him multiple times we did not want to. That wound up wasting time and putting us in a very awkward spot with local store owners.

Fun but warning! - Great tour. The one warning I would give is you will end up going to two high pressure sales shops. Compare it to a high pressure time share sale. Had that not been part of the trip I would give it 5 stars.
