Located in the prime area of old Hyderabad city, the Salar Jung Museum is surrounded by notable landmarks like the Charminar, Mecca Masjid, and State Central Library, all within walking distance. Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, who lent his name to the museum, amassed a rich collection of artistic achievements from diverse European, Asian, and Far Eastern countries. A significant portion of the collection is on display, showcasing artifacts from the 2nd century BC to the early 20th century AD.
