This intimate tour of the deserted ethno-eco village of Malo Grablje offers a fascinating glimpse into a forgotten way of life. Located less than 5 miles (6 km) from the town of Hvar, the village is a scenic wonder. A leisurely stroll will take us past crumbling ruins, ancient water cisterns, a church, a long-disused mill, a cooperative, and other hidden spots. Our journey culminates with a visit to a lovingly restored family homestead, where we’ll meet the owners and enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal.

A fabulous day trip around Hvar - Firstly, scenically the island of Hvar is absolutely stunning. Secondly, Our guide was a joy. She was extremely know,edgable and interesting. The highlight for us was the wine tasting. A very talented winemaker who was justifiably proud of his craft. To finish off, we visited the deserted village and had a meal there which was the best meal we ate on Hvar. Simple ingredients expertly cooked with a vista that couldn’t be beaten! All in all, a very enjoyable day and a very worthwhile trip.
