Great Experience - if you’re willing to do the journey then it’s worth it - Honestly we had a great time! Experienced everything we wanted and optional add ons of camel at the pyramids and Nile boat cruise are 100% worth it. 50% off for students too! Definitely make sure u have enough cash! Our guide was lovely and honest, she was very informative too. The ride there was okay. Considering you are in a mini bus with strangers and trying to sleep in the heat is rough. But would do it all again. Full disclosure with timing we were scheduled to leave at 1.30am and left around 2am. Stopped three times during the night once for a half hour and got there at 8.30am.

amazing day in Cairo - Me and my family spent an amazing day in Cairo and it was MANAL that made it possible. She was organized, joyful and punctual. Her knowledge of history and culture amazed us and we got all the information to understand all the touristic attractions. Event though the trip from Hurghada to Cairo was really long, it was all worth it at the end. This trip with our guide manal was one of the best trips we ever had and will stay in our memories for ever. highly recommended!

Great trip - This was fantastic, yes it is an early start but it is worth it. Communications started the day before which was reassuring. We had a last minute change of hotel which was managed perfectly and without fuss. Our driver was lovely, encouraging us to sleep but we stopped for a break and then ensuring that we have change for the toilet etc. Our guide met us at Cairo and he was wonderful. So informative at the museum and allowed us time to take pictures etc. on arrival at the pyramids he ensure we were ok, encouraging us only to speak to him and he made sure we were no bothered by sellers. Our meal was lovely and we then travelled back to the hotel. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience - Absolutely fantastic trip, great driver who greeted us nicely at the start and looked after us throughout the trip, always making sure we had plenty of drinks and breaks. Our guide was wonderful, very informative on the historic facts. He looked after us at the pyramids, warning sellers away and even recommended a place at the market for us to get some souvenirs. Yes this is an early start, 2:45am but it is 100% worth it and you get to sleep in the mini van , which was comfortable and air conditioned Restaurant was lovely and local which was good. Highly recommend this trip

Very nice experience, clouded by the fellow travellers - The trip itself was great and worth it. We couldn't have gotten any easier from Hurghada to the pyramids, even if the ride was naturally long and adventurous (pickup 01 am, return around 11 pm). We saw the pyramids, the Sphinx, the (old) Egyptian Museum. That alone was worth the ride. Plus the optional Nile tour (10 EUR) and two obligatory sales events (oils and papyrus) where we had not bought anything. We had chosen the ride with the minibus. Next time we'd better take the bigger bus. In the row behind us sat a family with two small children, one of whom had to spit the whole journey and the stomach contents once poured over my child's shirt. Not very nice, especially since the child continued to be stuffed with sweets and the parents said from the beginning that the child would become sick while driving. The organizer can't help it, but our enjoyment of the ride was greatly tarnished. The tour was designed for a maximum of 8 people. But we were 11 people plus 2 drivers.

Good but guide speed - Very well but small reproach the guide speeds us in the museum , to take the extra tickets to see the inside of the pyramid , and we stayed only 5 minutes in front of the SPHYNX all to make perfumes ... whereas we normally have to enter the SPHYNX ... people don’t care about papyri and perfumes . Otherwise frankly it was good!

You have to know what you're getting into - When you travel to Egypt for the first time, like us, you cannot skip the pyramids. However, the trip there is trendy (as described by others) and in my opinion only reasonable for children from about 14 years. The whole day is kind of a rush: be it in the Egyptian Museum with felt 2tsd other visitors or on the way to the pyramids. Road traffic is definitely an experience - papyrus, oil sales and also lunch (hotel buffet with overpriced beverage prices (Cola 3 EUR) you could certainly save. The pyramids (please no animal-torturing carriage rides or camel rides) are then of course imposing. Note: visiting the Cheops pyramid is REALLY (!) strenuous (45 degrees cramped ascent at 80% humidity). Conclusion: We have seen the pyramids - again the tour but definitely not

Average experience for traveling with E.T.O. Travels to Cairo - We were pickup from the hotel at 1 AM and nobody informed us about the coming trip or to pickup some more guests in other hotels. We had to guess how many time and how many stops it would take. In Cairo we met with our guide (approx. 9.30 AM) who stayed with us whole day. He was the first who explained something about the programm of the day. We rushed through the Egyptian Museum and headed off to the Papyrus Museum. There we stayed almost as long as in the museum before going to lunch. After lunch we went to the pyramids. During the contact by whatsapp upfront we already indicated to buy the extra ticket to go into the Cheops pyramid. The guide tried to convice us several times to change our mind because it looked more convenient for the guide and driver to have a different plan. Even when standing at the entrance for buying the tickets we had to be careful that we got the correct tickets and not get the tickets for the 3rd (smaller pyramid). Luckily we persisted because the experience to go into the Cheops Pyramid was amazing. After that we had a small camel ride to get some pictures and after that we were rushed to the Spinx to make some photos. Then there was a surprise to go to a perfume factory, another tourist trap like the papyrus factory to get some money of tourists. IWe traveled back to the hotel after that and were back in the hotel at about 10.30 PM. f we had known before that we would spend more time in the tourist traps and lunch instead have some more time at the Pyramids and the Sfinx we would have looked for another travel agency.

The tour guide is a crucial criterion - If your guide in Egypt says goodbye without asking for tips, you know what the experience was like. Language chaos between English and German, poor content, mass handling. Too bad!

Good experience made terrible by the organisers - There were some good bits but the overall experience was not what we booked Booked a small group up to 8 persons thinking we're going to get a better customer care and better experience but there where already 9 persons in the van when we got in. Then we found out that the only English that the drivers were speaking was with Google translate and they didn't help do the experience any better by taking extra unnecessary brakes The confort in the van was non existent and the air conditioning didn't work on the back benches that we were sitting making our 8 year old be sick all day long At the attractions the guide was late although we were late as well she messed up our tickets and did not wait for us so ended up seeing the museum by ourselves for half of the time until i managed to find the group and from then on everything was rushed quick visit to the museum quick rush to the river cruise which was forced on us but it's actually one of the good things about the trip then another sale trip to a perfume shop but also good experience and we got some nice perfumes but a sale visit nonetheless Lunch was OK and then another rushed experience to the pyramids and the sphinx with another sale ticked carriage ride to get decent photos because there wouldn't have been enough time to walk and take good pics and with that done another sale stop to a papyrus shop/museum After this was done we had the return trip home in the confort from hell which was made better by the drivers driving slowly to save fuel or something In the end is it worth it? Yes But I can't recommend this company 😕 to expensive for what was promised and not delivered
