Arrival at Paradise Island

The allure of the ocean has always been irresistible to me, and the promise of exploring the marine protectorate of Paradise Island in Hurghada was too tempting to pass up. Despite a whirlwind trip to Cairo the day before, the call of the sea was stronger than the fatigue. We were picked up from our hotel early in the morning, and by 9 am, our boat was setting sail from Hurghada. The weather was windy, but the anticipation of seeing the coral reefs kept our spirits high.

Upon arrival at Paradise Beach, we were among the first visitors, which allowed our guides to secure a prime spot for us right in the middle of the beach. The sun, sea, and swimming had worked up quite an appetite, and the Egyptian beers we enjoyed on the beach were the perfect accompaniment to our meal.

As we lounged on the beach, I reflected on the day’s experiences. The trip was well-organized, and the personal touch from our guides made it all the more special. Unlike other tours, there was no pressure to purchase photos, allowing us to enjoy the moment without distraction. It was a refreshing change and a testament to the professionalism of our guide, whose name, unfortunately, escapes me.
