Perfect. - We loved our experiences with FTS Travel.
We booked all our excursions to their home and everything was well organized, well supervised.
We had a great time each time.
The guides and teams are great.
I recommend this agency!

Amazing - Great people very lovely and welcoming. Cheap prices, do not need to pay much. Very good would book again. You get a picture at the end of you for only €2. You can also get the professional picture package. Very good at teaching how to ride to quad too.

A must-do tour. - This is a fantastic tour, and criminally cheap, so I highly recommend it...
The transfer takes you to a large compound that does multiple tours and permutations... star gazing, BBQ etc... we booked for the sunset / Bedouin village tour.
On arrival were split into English / non- English speaking groups for the safety brief and instruction on how to operate the quad. This was detailed with an emphasis on safety, and this eye to safety and competence was carried on throughout the tour, which is very refreshing.
You have to buy a scarf and hire goggles, but they don't stick the arm in, so we were happy to pay the low price. As always, the photo upselling is present, as with every tour you will go on, but it's not pushy so we were inclined to buy a few of them.
Once you get on your quad, you're taken as a group to ride around the compound and here is where the staff are watching to see who is capable of who needs help. Mainly, you need to be able to keep a steady gap between you and the quad in front. If you can't, the guide will move you to a different line or jump on with you. It was good to see this level of supervision and a few riders were moved around, again this is for everyone's safety. There are plenty of guides throughout the tour, including the obligatory photographer. We had 'Bashar' as our photographer and he was really funny and later posed us for some cool photos.
First part is an 11km ride into into the desert. The ground is rough so be prepared for your arms to absorb a lot of vibration. It also helps to wear long trousers, or long socks, as the quad engine puts out quite a bit of heat. You should also be prepared for everything to be covered in dust, so make sure your bags are properly closed. Once you reach a half way point, you stop for some photos. The landscape is amazing and, as I mentioned, Bashar took some great photos of us.
Onwards to the Bedouin village... here you can buy chilled drinks and the prices are just as they are in town, no gouging. There's the option to get on a camel, but it's only for a few minutes and just for a photo. My wife got kicked by hers a few times and the guide, Yousseff apologised, but it's beyond his control. We are invited to a tent with souvenirs. Again, there's no hard sell and the prices are very cheap. You then get served black tea and get a few minutes to climb a hill for some great shots of the area.
Next is the ride home with a stop for the sunset. Nature didn't disappoint and it was great to watch the sun drop behind the mountains.
You then ride back to the compound in the dusk, which was pretty cool.
Once back, there are some free soft drinks and you can get some photos immediately (only $2 each) Bashar's photos were $30 and they were worth it.
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. It was professionally organised and it did exactly what was advertised.

Exceptional - It is a very good price for an exceptional day. I didn’t expect such a good organization. We were amazed. The guide, Mr Ramez, is great. He also speaks French which was great. The evening meal was included and it was a treat. We made camel, visited a village of Bedouins, saw animals. We then went buggy and then quad biking. We ended the day with a delicious meal and a show. I totally recommend

A very happy person 😊 - The guide was very helpful he spoke in English and explained everything . You will.need glass's and a head scarf. You can purchase there if needed . Drinks are 2 euros when you stop at the first 2 places. The bread and tea you make were lovely . The boudin people are very kind and friendly people. The bikes were great fun we had a buggy. . The food was amazing. The camel ride was fun but they do pressure you to give a tip. Defo take some cash with you. The stargazing and show was fantastic
Let's go there again next time

Quad bikes are fun - As with all the excursions but you do in Hurgada, there always appears to be an extra charge. There was an extra charge for going into a tourist area. It was $1 per person. There was also charge of $5 per person to buy a head scarf to keep the dust out of your mouth and nose and also an additional $3 charge to hire the ski type goggles which keep the dust off your eyes or off your sunglasses. Trip takes roughly 3 hours. You will ride 11 kilometres take a short break and then ride the next 11 km to the Bedouin village. You then stop for a short break. Ride some camels if you wish. Look at the Bedouin gift shop. Have some tea and then return back to the start. It's a good trip but you will get very very dusty so wear some old clothes. If I were booking this trip I would go in the morning which gives you the rest of the day after you return to shower and relax by the pool. If you can purchase a headscarf before you take the trip it will be cheaper for you.

Great adventure, but… - The good things:
They are really committed to safety and making the ride enjoyable. Some people get upset because they don’t allow to ride unprepared or reckless people. I think they’re right on it.
The dinner and the show are great. And the whole dessert experience is worthwhile.
Our group guide (Hassan) was really into helping and assisting us in everything.
Thing to improve:
Being as serious as they are about safety, some of the guides become really aggressive when correcting someone’s behaviour
The camel ride is barely testimonial, like two minutes or so, just a couple hundred of meters more would do.
And my main complaint: They advertise a comfortable trip in an air conditioned autobus, but they pick you up, and take you, in a very harsh 4x4 truck all they way to the dessert and back. I don’t mind the extra adventure, what really annoys me is the deception.

Quad biking with sales event - The quad bike ride and the guide were great. Now to the rather negative : It was quite a bit that is not in the description or was not made , e.g. the bread baking in the Bedouin village or the free drink that you had to pay at once. Otherwise, the village is all built up for tourists , and you also get a free sales demonstration where you should buy cream , herbs and souvenirs. At the end everyone gets a photo in their hand and after 5 min Waiting time you should suddenly pay for it again. Conclusion : If you just want to have fun on a quad bike, you should book with a private provider .
